Ban on image signatures

This may just be grumpy old Zechk talking, but I for one cannot stand large images in people’s sigs. They clutter up the forum and add huge amounts of wasted space to every thread. You often get situations like:

It would seem we can delete signatures all together but I can't find a size limit

Fex, forumsrpg.com says you have a choice of phpBB2, phpBB3, punBB or Invision. I've never worked with Invision, but the others should have an option or a plugin you can install to govern sig image size or disallow images in them.

I'll chat with Baal about what we can do as most of us are not savvy enough to handle code and we wanted an easy solution so we selected the simplest format. Give Baal some time to work out what can be done, but at a glance the provided options have nothing for sig size

I’m assuming that means you went with Invision then. Apparently version 3.x has this built in, so you must be on version 2.x. To save Baal some messing around, this plugin looks like it should add the functionality in version 2.3.x and below:

Carphil yours is fine lol! Its the 6" x 6" picture of someones stupid car, fat wife, terrible hand drawn fantasy character that are bad, etc. that are bad. Certainly not a ban but size limits for sure. It seems the guys are on it though.

to be faith when i looked on the link Zechk gave there were options to limit size, that would be good option i think
