Stab Down BackStab

OK. So this has happened to me twice. Actually, both at the almost exact same spot in blight town.

I'm invading, and I find this guy next to Quelana, and I go over to this person. We fight a little bit, here and there, and I backstab as soon as they flas, but then suddenly they're in a coffin position, and I stab down as if i'm stabbing them in the heart from behind. They then die. Both the times this happened, they were at the corner to the right of Quelana if you're facing Quelaag's domain, they were both near death, and they were both flasking as soon as I back stabbed them.

Is this known? Or did I just find some kind of glitch/golden egg?!

Must be the flasker's curse.
Legends state that long ago, a man took a drink from an estus in that same location. For whatever insane reason, he lay down. Then an invader appeared and stabbed him. From that day on, anyone who was back stabbed in that area while flasking is inflicted with this curse.

Yeah this is a weird glitch that occurs by her. But, I don't believe it happens every time, as I've seen it only by her but only a few times, while usually they are just normal backstabs. It's a very weird animation glitch indeed.

I had this happen to me in the exact same spot , close to Quelaana , just about a week ago !

Its the strangest thing ,

On that day there were 3 different ganking squads in the swamp area , luckily the guy I did this to was one of them. He belonged to a team of 3 dragonoids



Before that , Ive never even seen 1 squad actually camping there & I invade there pretty often since last month to keep in character with my Egghead :|

I know for a fact that that spot creates that down backstab. I bsed three people multiple times, killing one after another, until the host. Happened EVERY backstab.

Yes. Except it forces them into a certain position where you're behind them. can't be to the side like the video.
