New Londo, city of ghosts and the dead. Even with the floodgates opened water still
sloshed through the streets, impeding the more heavily armoured troops. The hand led the attack with his remaining council
members, Spurgun and Plagius. As they
moved forward the hand split his soldiers into smaller groups as the knights
had during their attack. He had learnt
how effective their tactics were and would use them to better his own forces.
The stalkers hid throughout the city. This was their land, and they knew where to
hide. They also knew where the ghosts
hid. Screams could be heard as the small
groups the hand sent out were ambushed and slaughtered, unable to hurt the
beasts that lived here. As time went on
the hunters dealth with these ghosts slaying them slowly. At this point the stalkers engaged the deliverance. Small hit and run attacks testing the
line. The deliverance fought back with
vengeance, but little casualties were inflicted by either side. The attacks were merely there to slow the
deliverance forces down. Soon they
became separated from the bulk of the army, unable to protect them effectively
as the Wyrmhero pushed his forces deeper into the city in order to engage the
stalkers, despite the seraphs calls for a halt.
The stalkers struck with fury, a wedge sliced into the
lifehunter flank but the gravesworn phantoms held the line, taking stalker
after stalker down. From the front came
a wave of stalkers, leaping through the streets, jumping off buildings. The hand and his guard met them with scythe
and claw. At first the battle went
evenly, the lifehunters reduced numbers preventing them from overpowering the
stalkers, but the phantoms of the gravesworn preventing the stalkers breaking
into the hunter flank.
BTW amos what is the name of your toon?

It was then he entered the battle. Catalyst and blade in hand Amos joined the
battle. soul spears screamed over the
battlefield ploughing through the gravesworn lines. Before they could recover he was amongst them
his sword slicing through their ranks, phantoms and gravesworn falling in
droves, the lifehunter flank was broken open.
The stalkers surged into the gap, throwing the lifehunter army into
disarray. Troops not ready for battle
suddenly found themselves facing monsters of the dark. Panic reigned, the screams of the dying
flowing to the front. So many wraiths
indulged their humanity stealing power that the sound was audible over the
screams.
The hand heard the screams but had no time. He urged his guard ahead even as his army
collapsed and withdrew, the captains knowing all was lost. The hand’s guard carve a path through the
stalkers, his council men easily cutting them down. It was then the lord’s guard struck
back. Baal and Laplace struck at Spur
and Platin. Baal and Laplace moved in
unison, weaving a battle the dragon and King could not match. The king was struck by Laplace’s sword in his
leg and Baal took the chance, almost killing the king with a thrust to the
chest. Outmatched Spur roared, his fury
unleashed. The force literally blew Baal
through a wall while Laplace disappeared, avoiding the attack but leaving the
battle. Spur looked around but could see
no sign of the hand nor his guard.
Scooping up Platin he fled the scene, fearing the worst.
The hand and hi guard charged forward leaving hi councilmen
to deal with the pair. The few stalkers
still guarding the city and not participating in the slaughter attempted to
stop him but anger lent the hand a command of battle they could not match. As his guard were cut down one by one he slew
his foes until none remained.

So I had this idea for the ending but Im not sure it fits with what you guys want. So if you wnat it changed just say so.

- The hand dropped, consciousness fleeing him. The dark Lord removed his sword, wiping it clean on the hand's armour. He removed the letter from his armour and placed it in the Wyrmhero's hand.
"You better be right about this."
"All will ... work for you ..." A shadow emerged from the corner speaking in a dead voice.
"If it doesn't I will make sure you do not return to this world again."
A rustling sound emitted from the shadow's chest. "Don't make threats ... you cannot fufill. You only live ... by the will of ... others." With that Avrik picked up the unconsciouse hand and headed to the Painted World. Out of earshot he patted the hand's head and whispered "You only live ... by the will of .... others friend."

@Billy Basically Avrik helped you against the LH but made sure you kept the hand alive, knowing he would be useful to him in the future.

Only complaint is Laplace used his blade. The Lord's Shadow is an archer first and foremost >_> Though I do like the leg stabbing.

Also, I feel so caged! I want so badly to make Plagius into the ultimate evil of the player covenants, but I very highly doubt I could get the support of all the covenants to go about doing it. Just imagine though, all the covenants against Plagius and his Legions with all of creation as the stakes...
