Now the last war showed me that the better you can deal with a gank the more points you get, now many people have tips for dealing with a gank situation and tips are allways appreciated, but how about a place to come and practice your skills at taking on a gank,

Well 1 host will summon two white phantoms in a low traffic area, and then wait to be invaded by a fourth person, who will then have to deal with the gank, practice makes perfect, now i know you can go to forest and do this, but wouldnt having a dedicated place with people you know be much better, you can ask them to focus on only bs'in you or or twop wog spam, to learn how best to counter,

Mostly this is for Darkstalker members, but as a community i would welcome anyone wishing to get some practice in

Sounds good to me and I would be quite happy to either host or participate in such thing on XBL. For possible areas some of the flatter sections of ash lake could work.
(also billy I love how you warn that you are going to be out of it and then 3 times in the space of 5 minutes prove more awake and with it than me)

This sounds fine, what SL would it be based upon?

you cant have pvp in ash lake, i was thinking the lower burg, and sometimes i can have sheer acts of brilliance

Hmm. I was going to suggest a higher SL so that we did not have to use different characters for every single test , just have a loadout swap... however I feel it should have some kind of
"Okay so you beat the 3 on 1, now do it without WoG or backstab" as an example of a way of making it more challenging if you get what I mean...

Well, if we look at it as a club where people attend regular with a dedicated build for training we will want on the builds they are fighting against unless we use multiple...
24/36 int for Crystal soulmass or soul spear use (in a 3V1 soul spear becomes alot nastier in my experience since crystal is just more damage no need for 44)
28 faith for WoG, possibly keep it low so that the match does not end as soon as you make one mistake
24/32 strength except for specific special moves this is all you need to utilize most movesets.
20/24 dex. same as above.
something around 40 vit so that we dont go down too easy and possibly high endurance to practice against fighting a flipping poise tank ,


Again these are just suggestions take them or leave them I am just thinking with an audience

maybe sl 120 to give the most versatility with builds,

I think that stat setup offers a fair amount of versatility if not power in any scenario other than training...

Indeed.... I would propose 150 long term simply to be able to do just about anything passably. I shall wait for other peoples opinions though.

I vote sl 120 as I have multiple builds at that sl. Also on a less selfish note sl 120 is common and even lower level builds could use training against them. Perhaps we should just have multiple sl's.

I have a sl 55 for invader, and sl 80, 120 for white phantoms. JUst PM me time and place and I'll see if I'm avaible

Just kidding of course I will be involved I have my 55 80 and 2 120's that can all host the moonpit....so I will be the moonpit host for dealing with the gank

I would say 80 and 120. I know the LH and the knights all have 80 and 120 toons so they could support you there.

Excellent that we have all this interest. my question is how many people have builds that are capable of all the dirty tactics. BS fishing is universal but WoG spam would be tricky on my moonlight build

i have a sl60 that can twop and wog you 6 times, thats it though, lol
