It was surprisingly enjoyable, certainly a cut above the fare one would expect from your garden-variety "kid's show." It was the episode where Applejack tried to harvest an entire field of apple trees all by her lonesome, which, of course, led to a series of unfortunate, though comical hi-jinks.

Also, I've been reading random fics posted on EqD all morning. A few strange ones, a few good ones, and one about Lyra and Bon-Bon that I am not going to talk about.

Sadly, as a Star Wars fan I know that feeling.

Actually, the average quality is much higher than expected. The Lyra/Bon-Bon one was decent writing, but the subject matter was... interesting. HOW DO YOU TAKE TWO BACKGROUND PONIES AND MAKE ONE OF THEM *** AND ONE OF THEM A MASSIVE HOMOPHOBE! AND THEN WRITE A LOVE STORY ABOUT IT! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Moar double posts. Anyway, I just spent the last 6 hours reading the entirety of "The Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog". Considering it was free and written in someone's spare time... not bad! Echo had those occasional moments of being awesome and you can't help but cheer as he pwns. An unnamed Draconequus spat references like noponies' business (two from Red vs. Blue alone). Also, anything vaguely reminiscent of Discord is fantastic. Also, there are some rather creative strings of curses in there, so be warned... then again, I can't imagine any of you being offended by swearing.

You know, I'd say that Discord would use a weapon, but... nah. He's got it covered with just his hands. Though, a titanite Catchpole and an Izalith/Firesage catalyst would fit.

Edit: What's up with that? I've tried in multiple posts and I cannot capitalize "titanite".
