Life without the DWGR.

I wonder how PvP would be without the DWGR. Would everyone fast roll? Would a new higher SL cap be established so that tank builds can fast roll? 50 End minimum builds? Havel's Ring a must? If DWGR didn't exist, this would be my build.

I think it would do the online aspect of DkS a world of good. But that's just my personal opinion.

Maybe I'm biased since I usually go to the trouble of keeping most my builds at regular fast-roll speed.

LOL Forum I think everyone would use Havel's + FAP.

I'd only use something else with casters. Every melee oriented build would be 56 poise and fast roll, whatever the cost.

Indeed, I don't think we would see an increase of fat rolls. Maybe medium rolls...

Their would be more fat folls, they'd just all be turtles.

We wouldn't raise the level cap, turtles would just have to deal with not having a fast roll.

this is what i wear sometimes, i go with med roll a lot which is actually pretty good and not that much changes in my fighting styles when i do. i would never fat roll, i just dont like tanking(i dont mean turtling which most fat rollers do)

I have some with and some without. Never used a build that didn't have some form of fast roll. You'd probably just end up seeing even more Dex builds to keep weight down. Or turtle tanks as suggested.

Yeah, everyone with tiny weapons. At least we would see less Zweis and BKGAs, LOL!

I have had most of my characters have the ability to fast roll with some nice armor and decent poise. Since i generally go for pure melee builds, it leaves me with a larger array of armors and weapons to use while fast rolling. It's fun in pvp imo.

If you don't worry about poise, the dwgr becomes useless. I've been free of it ever since I started running 0 poise builds.

I did away with the DWGR a while ago.

I have 2 fast rollers, a medium roller and a fat roller. I love my fat roller tbh, everyone gets over confident thinking I'll be easy to BS, poor them.

Its actually not really any easier to bs someone who's rolling slow. It all depends on how good that person is at defending against bs.

You're argument is absurd by the way. If I don't worry about damage, weapons become useless. If you don't worry about life, air becomes useless. Technically true, but not valid become its to broad.

It doesn't matter if its true or not, they think it's true, which leads to death by blunt force trauma.

My thoughts about the DWGR: it should work with a burden weight, and not with a percentage. If you are under, lets say, 30.0 weight, you can ninja roll. It would totally make sense, because a ninja tank is simply stupid. My opinion.

Ever been bsd by a lightning great axe? Without the hornets ring it breaks the 1400 mark, more than enough to kill many builds, and thats no dragon roar, no pw, not a counter attack.
