I bought DKS a long time ago. I played it for an hour and decided I wasn't seriously into video games anymore to apply the discipline needed to kill those damn skeletons or figure out what the hell anything meant in the game.
Yet I didn't get rid of it. The evil box lay in wait with eternal patience that can only be powered by great good or powerful evil.
And alas, the day came, months down the road, when tired from mindless hours wasted on Skyrim and flipping through the other usuals, perplexed as to what video game flavor I truly savored, I picked up the evil box and made a deadly serious pact.
"I will get past those two skeletons, no matter how long it takes"
My knight died more times than can easily be counted but eventually the two graveyard skeletons lay crushed beneath me, obliterated by my cruel Morningstar, never to rise again (well, you know) To my great anguish, my triumph was quickly destroyed like a child's summer ending with a return to school as my proud knight met another quick and pitiless demise at the hands of a giant machete wielding behemoth of a skeleton. Hath DKS no mercy?
Now this bastard *** game had personally challenged me and I was locked in a contest of wits as furious as the battle of iwo jima. DKS could kill a million of my men but it could not defeat me, because I have infinite respawns.
Fast forward a few months and I finally got Xbox live so I could experience the online portion of the game and later I found the godsend of help that is these forums.
    Thank you brothers. And sisters.

And just FYI, I have been in the hospital for the past month, unable to play DKS, so I have satiated my thirst for virtual punishment by learning everything I can from this wiki and forum.
    Again I say thank you.

And for those who have to know why i have been in a hospital for a month, my other passion is rock climbing, and I fell a long ways. Tomorrow though I transfer to outpatient status and have purchased a new Xbox and copy of DKS. I'll be offline but am looking forward to starting a new magic build, never used it before.

And one more thing, glitches are cheating. I can't and won't try to stop anyone from doing it, but you are only damaging the integrity of the game for yourself. DKS is to good to be spoiled!

Welcome to the forum. Those skellies are a down right pain if you don't know what you're doing yet. We hope to see you in the covenant section soon.

I'm still figuring out the finer details, but online I prefer the path of jolly coop. Us hollows gotta stick together, you know?

I feel your pain, not the literal pain. How far did you plunge? Anyway, I'm happy to hear your better and recovering well. But yeah, dark souls and its many denizens have more than tore me a new one. I'm happy and feel accomplished to be among those that conquered the challenge! Anyway, welcome! =)

    Welcome to the forums, master.

Hope to learn a thing or two about how to die from you winking

If you're interested in coop, there's a covenant called the Noble Knights that are specialists around SL60-80 who just love cooping, think you'll fit in there once you feel confident enough to help others happy

I would seriously be kicking said friend's ***! A controller I could understand as happening impulsively, but it takes a bit of premeditation to get up, walk to the console, remove disc, THEN break!

Anyways, glad you're doing well after your fall, and welcome to the forums!

Praise to the Higher Powers, whatever it might be, you survived a fall, which could be fatal one. Cannot even imagine your feeling when you slipped.

Now u can prepare to die, fortunately not in real life.

No, it was out of the ps3, in the case siting on the lil coffee table using LP2 as a coaster when this lady mom invited over told her son to sit down. So instead of being reasonable and using oh say, the couch, he hops onto said table and sits on both games.

My original character I left at sl76 I think. It will be about 2 months till I get back on that Xbox and online, so until then I'm gonna try a diff build or two. If possible I may be online sooner, but not sure yet.

I fell 120 ft. Got two respawns with some help but not gonna try a third.

Serious!!! I didn't know there was such a covenant! Where do I sign in? I mean co-op is everything I do.
On topic... Master, wellcome to the forums, I am glad you were using your fall control spell and could tell the story. Not all are that lucky. I suggest to buy a lottery ticket... Who knows what might happen.

Good luck ...and prepare to die again, and again, and again...
