Yet I didn't get rid of it. The evil box lay in wait with eternal patience that can only be powered by great good or powerful evil.
And alas, the day came, months down the road, when tired from mindless hours wasted on Skyrim and flipping through the other usuals, perplexed as to what video game flavor I truly savored, I picked up the evil box and made a deadly serious pact.
"I will get past those two skeletons, no matter how long it takes"
My knight died more times than can easily be counted but eventually the two graveyard skeletons lay crushed beneath me, obliterated by my cruel Morningstar, never to rise again (well, you know) To my great anguish, my triumph was quickly destroyed like a child's summer ending with a return to school as my proud knight met another quick and pitiless demise at the hands of a giant machete wielding behemoth of a skeleton. Hath DKS no mercy?
Now this bastard *** game had personally challenged me and I was locked in a contest of wits as furious as the battle of iwo jima. DKS could kill a million of my men but it could not defeat me, because I have infinite respawns.
Fast forward a few months and I finally got Xbox live so I could experience the online portion of the game and later I found the godsend of help that is these forums.
Thank you brothers. And sisters.
And just FYI, I have been in the hospital for the past month, unable to play DKS, so I have satiated my thirst for virtual punishment by learning everything I can from this wiki and forum.
Again I say thank you.
And for those who have to know why i have been in a hospital for a month, my other passion is rock climbing, and I fell a long ways. Tomorrow though I transfer to outpatient status and have purchased a new Xbox and copy of DKS. I'll be offline but am looking forward to starting a new magic build, never used it before.
And one more thing, glitches are cheating. I can't and won't try to stop anyone from doing it, but you are only damaging the integrity of the game for yourself. DKS is to good to be spoiled!
