Btw they are crawling on several walls in the catacombs, and also in the starting cell in the asylum!

But when you zoom in you will recognize that it's just an animated/moving texture with tranparent spaces in between the bugs.

They should have made larger bugs enemies deeper in. a "warning" of whats to come.

I've cranked the volume to listen to the whispers, but never heard anything distinguishable like that. Then again, I only listened by the bookcase shortcut in the archives. I'll try and see if I can hear something similar...

I've heard it best in the area right before the boss area, the area with the clams. Once cleared I left it for a few minutes and heard three separate groupings of whispers. Only one starts with "I made a mistake". That's the only line I can make out too...

Maybe Seath regrets his betrayal...

Sorry to take on the position of the skeptic, but for the moment I don't think any of it is distinguishable. I'd guess that you only think you're hearing something that sounds like 'I made a mistake" out of the whispering.*

After a quick listen, I think the sporadic whispering is the same throughout Duke's and The Caves. It'd be pretty darn awesome to find out if it does change in a certain spot, but I'm guessing it's just one long audio track and we won't find more secrets out of it.

*What would be best is a good audio sample of it. Anyone capable of providing one? I wouldn't mind being proven wrong, I just really can't hear it.

I wish I could, let me see if I could grab one.

Edit: I found a decent sound recording app. I'm gonna use it to grab some samples and see how they come out. I'm gonna have to post them up once my daughter goes to sleep though, she's a bit of a jabber jaw so yeah. I'll have these ready for you soon!

I tried to grab a sample, but now I don't hear it. =( I could've sworn that it was said. Now I think I'm going nuts! I'll keep trying to catch it, but I think you're right.

I should try, too. I always have my audio going through my laptop.

But, yaknow, i havent played dks since friday. So, i wanna do some other stuff instead haha!
