Weird. Apart from the Covenant stuff (Alvina talking to me like if I were a Forest Hunter, even after murdering the entire forest; and the like) I haven't had any other problem occur to me.
Seems it's far more serious than I thought it was
As people have said, though; why did it leave it unfixed? I mean, they patched the Dragon Dupe Glitch, and that one required a lot more effort than this one from the player.

FROM is entirely busy making the PC port and console DLC.

Or they could realize its helping keep the game alive and leave it. The temporary fix could just be make the BB available from Domhall or the Giant blacksmith even.

For the blacksmith sure, but Domhall was how it always was.
