I did yeah, but in the pictures I put up I didn't have particularly long hair like I do now. I don't usually have it this long, just my gap year has caused me to become incredibly lazy

It's half five in the morning and I just realised that one day I'm going to die. That'll be it, no continues, no respawning at the last checkpoint, just death. And it terrifies me.

Your realized this now? Well, it's better than most, as some don't realize it until it is too late. Of course, moat of them follow a belief that mentally turn them to accepting martyrs.

I knew about death but deep down always had the mentality of "that stuff happens to other people, like robberies and illness". It's just that my auntie died of a heart-attack yesterday, out of nowhere. She was only 54 years old, was fit and healthy but Bam! Just like that, it's over.

Re: Random Off-Topic
Ya, that has a tendany to exist. However there are times where people who were I'll or had a high chance of dying... Never die.
Living with death since I was young, I have accept that death can happen, and will eventually happen. Worse case scenario is that I will be greeted once again by the void. I have no illusion of a heaven or hell, as they are ideas and beliefs that I do not follow... Such ideals are an easy way to accept death, and usually many embrace it when confront it... I prefer to fight it until death finally wins.
So do yourself a favour: don't dwell on death as a negative or positive, rather part of life that can happen at anytime. To fight it, live your life and don't try to escape it.... Trying to escape can just as easily bring death closer as is living.

On a religious note, do you think if God and heaven somehow exist, that good people who don't believe will still get in?

Re: Random Off-Topic
To be fair, if it does exist than the worse case scenario can never happen. Feeling nothing at all is better than even depression or immense pain such as your throat being cut from the inside and acid eating your own throat or mouth, and even the aspect of losing a hunk of flesh. If heaven and he'll did exist, than I would be thankful to take he'll than the option that I see can happen. I know that fully well.
Of course, others might not see it that way.

I however think that they would. It makes no sense for a just god to say 'good' people cannot get into heaven because of their belief, it goes against the benevolent aspect of God, exclusivism completely contradicts basic philosophical ideas about God.
In addition though, if anything you can argue that good people with no faith are morally better as they do good without expecting any reward, whilst religious believers have that incentive.

If the hypothetical lord is as he is supposed to be he should allow good non religious people in logically. This is a being which is supposed to understand every part of you completely. If you're a good person and He loves all people why should you not be allowed into heaven. although that is the christian god and others may vary.

He loves all people as his children... So tell me what is so special about Jesus.
This could lead towards many things here.

I Aldo would like to add that if they thought that in the first place, they would have thought twice about killing other people who dud not follow their same beliefs.

Re: Random Off-Topic
Jesus.. hmm. He is the son of god well half man, half deity we presume. He is special because he is God's one true son, though despite the fact he is special to God, it is shown by Jesus' sacrifice that humanity is also just as special if not moreso to God.
Your second tidbit, really that is an example of the way religion was used in less civilised times. It was a way to keep order. It wasn't really the religious leaders who declared war on people though, it was the rulers of countries that did that, and simply cited religious reasons as an excuse to make them seem in the right.

Re: Random Off-Topic
I hope you understand that there was order in those lands... They did not create more, they destroyed what existed (or in some cases just tried).
Then I must ask, how can Jesus be his 'true' son when he himself created every creature that existed. They are his children, and Mary was a virgin when she had him. And I also would like to see your viewpoint in the aspect of many other prophets such as Budha and Mohammed. As they are also special people who lead such religions, the same as Jesus, does that make the just as good or even less in your views, seeing them as heretics or other prophets of different gods.

Re: Random Off-Topic
Of course I understand that, they were wars for greed. Like I said, rulers simply used religion as an excuse to plunder and **** foreign lands.. Similar to how America and Britain used false pretense to get oil from Iraq
Jesus is his 'true' son as technically speaking, he is. He is half deity (half god) just as we are half our father. On a biological level though it would be confusing to look at, Jesus is literally the son of god or so i proclaimed. All of creation is metaphorically god's child, but not literally, that's the difference I think.
Heretics? Really? that's slightly old fashioned Mohammad really is teaching a religion that is fairly close to Judaism and Christianity, and is the newer of the three. It's a religion with many interesting parts, but there's a lot of contradiction between their ideals for peace, but in the same time aiming to convert everyone even at the cost of war (then again christianity has many examples on 'just war' and conversion).
To me different prophets are just that. They are prophets for different religions. While they preach things that are not totally in line with other religions from theirs, a lot can be taken from each one. Religions constantly grow and update according to changing times, and prophets can influence other religions as well as their own.
