Knight Kirk drop

Hi, i have a question, i beat knight kirk in the 3 encounters, the first one i got the spiked shield, the second only the souls and the humanity, but in the third encounter i was fighting both the isalith witch and kirk at the same time, i managed to kill kirk but i died before colecting the humanity and the sword he drops, is there a way to get the sword?? he doesent apear anymore and his bloodstrain is gone.

There is no guarantee that he'll drop his sword any time you face him. I got his shield twice and nothing dropped the last time I faced him.

Also, yeah.. you can't get the sword if it didn't drop for you.

Go for where he died, stand there, quit and reaload. It may have a chance of his sword to appear. Good luck.

that's wierd, because in the dark souls wiki it says it is a 100% drop, but he con drop it in any of the 3 encounters.

If it's 100%, then I'll need to check my BB again. But I'm nearly sure that I never got it.

i went to the place where he died but the bloodstain was gone, i am going try to reload to see if it apears.

I really want to say it's all random to drop depending on your item find. I know I only obtained the shield my first playthrough, then when doing the depths NG+ with capped item rate got both in one go. Never got him to double drop though, but it doesn't sound to far off.

Don't you get his sword when you kill him at Lost Izalith?

I poked his personal page, reading the drop list it does say that the sword and shield are possible drops in any encounter and that is what I have personally seen so far. Maybe the sword entry is old/not updated or someone possibly trolling?

i reloaded the game but no bloodstain, oh well, i guess i have to get the next play through

its not 100%, its a random chance (albeit fairly high since you only encounter him 3 times) to get none, one or both items each time you kill him
i believe one time i got the shield in the depths, then both shield+sword in demon ruins, and nothing in lost izzy

i't random more like 50% chance between something and nothing and then 50-50 between sword and shield, recently killed him in izalith, got both items...

Yes, it's 100%, but along the 3 invasions, you will get it at least once in at least one of the 3 invasions. It is possible that he drops sword and in the 2nd invasion he drops the sword again. I wrote that in the wiki after some tests. It's 100%, along the 3 invasions, at least in patch 1.05.

I definitely have two of his shields and none of his swords.

I got his sword and shield the first fight (NG Depths) and nada in the next two. I just finished him in the Depths again and netted the shield only. If you're a trophy hunter (achievements for Xbox) you'll have to kill him a bunch of times so hopefully he puts out for you.
