Filter workaround suggestions

Hello everyone

Several users have mentioned their school/work connections do not grant access to the site, as it is blocked by the predetermined filters.

If anyone has any ideas on how to bypass the filters, please post them here and maybe you'll help some people not hollow from boredom at their desk.

On school = hack the teacher's notebook and unblock the forums, then make cookies to him/her.

They could use some proxies to bypass their school's filtering.. I know I used to when i was in school XD

On school its easy but at the work, its big problem :/

I'm not familiar with what these filters take into account, but I imagine that would be the first step.

thing is these sites get churned out every couple of days so there's always one that wont be blocked..

Maybe it's basic... the URL? I'm sure the sequence RPG would be read as something completely not work related and therefore blocked.

My work filter is hilarious, it seems to be only blocking people's avatar pics...

Unless it's an IE8 issue (work force me to use it)

I have also thought about that, but the entire forum is under the URL "RPG" so if that was the case it wouldnt even be able to enter the forum.

My theory is now that the work filter is searching the page for "unrelated" stuff. I checked some threads at home, and I couldnt enter those pages if the thread contained words as "game" "weapon" or if specific locations was mentioned such as Anor Londo, Catacombs etc.

Im not certain if this is the case for everyone.

could you add a vertical scroll bar to the frame with the forum itself?
kinda hard to scroll, heh

I added a scrollbar, its just not very easy to see but if you have your mouse over the forum content you will scroll that and not the wiki page

much easier, before i had to highlight and drag, that get's annoying
