I might have ruined Dark Souls for myself :/

So, I have my very first character, SL160~ blowing through playthroughs. I have a SL 70~ Sunbro who isn't having much more difficulty outside of having to replace my Divine Claymore for Crystal Caves (doing next to no damage). But here's the kicker...I BB'd a new character I intended on doing all Dex/End with items from my SL 160. This has resulted in next to no difficulty and I don't even have the desire to play my legit characters. What should I do?

i'm that situation too, then i start pvping and everything changed, besides the SL 5 run i'm doint with my longway hero knight build, check my builds list... oh, and dont BB glitch :x

Yeah, you could try that. Really, the options are endless. Just don't treat it as a standard playthrough and add the difficulty curve that you seek and it should work out for you.

Going for the Insane Scavenger. At first my BB character was fun with their +15 Baldur Sword and Brass armor, but then it just stopped being fun

Honestly, if you want to make the beginning of the game easy for you, the Drake Sword is always available. Going through those beginning areas with something like a +5 MLGS is just overkill in my opinion.

Yea if you want challenge, as has been suggested you will have to impose the difficulty upon yourself. I am doing a pure (no BB, no using OP gifted items) SL 1 playthrough right now. And let me tell you, the challenge is definitely there! I'm only playing this character a bit at a time, as I'm working on other builds as well, and I honestly don't know how far I'll get, but at least I can upgrade my equipment, its just going to take awhile!

I like the whole scavenger build idea as well.
