Weird music in Gwyn boss battle

Hey so I noticed something strange happen today and I'm curious as to whether it's normal or a weird little easter egg. So curious that I even bothered searching this forum for info, then setting up an account after I found none.

So anyway, I was at the end of my NG+ playthrough and decided it would be interesting to wear the full Great Lord armour set + greatsword to fight Gwyn. I summoned Solaire and walked through the fog wall, then this silly piano tune started playing as the background music. It was totally out of place and played for the whole fight, then stopped when he died.

I didn't pay any attention to the music the first time around, but I think I would've noticed if this tune did play.

Is there normally a silly piano tune happening in that boss fight on NG+? Totally interested in replies please.

It's usually a piano tune, not sure about what you'd call silly but it's just a piano playing in the gwyn battle if im not mistaken..

Ah right, so it is always there, but I didn't notice in my first playthrough? Weird. It sounded very upbeat to me; so much so that it was really out of place.

Fighting Gwyn for the first time was so anticlimactic, I dropped him in under a minute yesterday

Hey the song is actually awesome. 2 bad they didn't include OST in limited edition. I had to pay for limited even tho it had nothing more than game and artbook. It was retarded ^^

dont you? i got DvD of behind the scenes and CD of soundtrack.. Where you from? thought everyone else got it as digital downloaD?

I'm living in UK right now. I've got some code for some website with digital guide, but it wasn't working because the website was bugged or something so I never used it.

I'm listening to the OST tune now... I think it's the same one. Maybe I was only hearing the treble notes due to my tv volume being low, idk. It sounds a little darker now that I'm really listening to it.
