NEW INFO About New Content/DLC!

This is a translation from a games page I usually visit, so some of the names may not be exactly correct (because maybe their tranlsation is different) but the rest is sure.

1. The new content will add around 5 hours of gameplay.
2. There will be three new regions.
3. It will add new enemies, new bosses, new areas, and new equipment.
4. Hawkeye Gough (is pronounced Gogh) will be an ALLY.
5. Some examples of the new areas will be the Tomb of Oolacile, Ancient Ruins, and a Enchanted Forest localized 200 YEARS IN THE PAST (the article suggests only the forest is 200 years in the past, and I'm pretty sure is that sunny forest we all saw in the trailers, and that indeed is Darkroot Forest).
6. Story will be very important in the new content.

But, these are all things we've known for quite a while.

I check this forum weekly and I've never seen all of this information.

I mean the details, like that Hawkeye will be an ally, that it will last around 5 hours, that the sunny forest is 200 years in the past, but the rest is not, that there will be specifically 3 new regions...

Mostly in the Archives, I guess not known. But more so, figured. Except the exact time, but I imagined the DLC wouldn't add too much time to the game by itself. As most DLC tends to do, it adds a around 2-7 hours of new content. Though I imagine Co-Op, PvP, and lore searching will definitely expand on that.

The official statement is 10 hours of added gameplay. But like Tolvo hinted at it's a variable measure.

I cant wait for the dlc... I've been wanting new areas to explore and bosses to fight... I saw a couple of videos on the new bosses and they look pretty tough, so hopefully the dlc offers a good challenge.

5 hours, wow. That's like 1 playtrhrough through Demon Souls. I am sold!

one thing no one except myself has seemed to notice, they confirmed an in game item that allows voice chat. This was said during the namco bandai e3 show, i have no link sorry.

No, no voice chat. They confirmed there is NOT gonna be voice chat. They even release it in the PC system requirements, but was later confirmed it WILL NOT carry voice chat. It was an error.

Thank god, I spend enough time having my eardrums broken from voiced hatemail, I don't need it going on during a fight.

So that namco bandai representative made a mistake? He described in detail how it would work, explaining it would be an in game item similar to the soap stones. Hard for me to believe that was just a mistake, but i did feel it was an odd choice on fromsofts part.

I want a new weapon/gear count. At least that way I know if one of 'em blows I've still got some other stuff to get psyched on. Hopefully we're all wearing tophats and doing sweep kicks at the end of the year.

Incorrect. They confirmed a scream stone that transmits short messages. Not full on voice chat, and nowhere have I seen it said it transmits players voices, only that it gives audible messages, may be simply vocal gestures of a sort.

5 hours of gameplay! Awesome. I just hope it's even harder than the original game to give all of us who cake walk through pve now days that sense of challenge again.

I thought official word from FROM was 10hrs, but eh how do you measure that anyway? Some guys will rush through it asap, while others like me will take their sweet time looking over every minute detail

I tried to tell 'em Fed. No reasoning with this crew. Myself in particular

5 hours of gameplay and new weapons to use... I hope there's some new spears, with a new moveset thrown in. That would be amazing.
