Ive been really busy with work, but I have manage to level up a character to 190 since the last time i posted here.
If you are on xbox you still get plenty of action if you host around the forest, or the burg or the klin. BUT it really slows down during night time.
My goal right now is 225, but idk, I'm already bored. You just never lose because the majority of the people you fight when you host are a weaker SL, In my experience anyways.
Or maybe the vast majority of the 360 crowd kinda suck.
I played on ps3 in a friend's house and damn, it's VERY different.

Can you explain how it's different I always been interested what's the difference between the PS3 and the 360 for dark souls. I play on the PS3 btw.
Also I don't host much I usually invade.

If your a darkmoon you can get invasion in the kiln pretty consistently. There's always the forest too.

If your gonna invade the inlay place where you will get constant invasions is the forest, everywhere else you might get you're pve'r here and there.

I think Rynn pointed that out also. Apparently she just beasted on a bunch of people on her friend's xbox. I personally don't know though.
Back to the topic, my 225 still gets fairly frequent invasions in the Kiln. The only issue is that the vast majority are gankers or what some would term "deebags". GENERALLY speaking, the players that ignore the community-determined PvP cap of 120-125 sometimes ignore all the other community-determined PvP standards. Like 1v1 and no healing. That's my personal experience though.

Like damage said, the higher sl the more douches Youre gonna get if you invade.
