Help me getting started to pvp.

Hello there! I've bought the game on the 1st day of release and have played almost 400 hours (farmed a lot), but i haven't done much PVP.

You can actually say i'm a total noob when it comes to pvp: my build is merely focused on pve. It's "weapon-inefficent" and i lack the infoes on the pvp-meta.

On top of that i'm a bow wielder, which is kinda "meh" in pvp...

The reason i have my STR at 36 because i wanted to wield some bigger weapons....simple as that...

I usually wear light armor tho, because i like the mobility.

Keeping in mind that i basically have all weapons and armors, and that i could upgrade ANYTHING to its maximum level, what could my ideal weapon+armor+spell setup be?

What kind of tricks can i pull in pvp with this build?

Thats an interesting build, mind if I steal for a second?

Not the best, but its my style. Added poise, a beatiful weapon that fits the stats, shield for stamina regen and parrying, some miracles

Take the build to the Forest where levels don't matter. You'll get a crash course in pvp. That's if you're a "trial by fire" kinda person

a shield in your right hand for a start is very strange for PVP, http://tinyurl.com/bvs2jnv ive swapped your armour for some poise, youll still get stunlocked by bigger weapons but you dont sacrifice your movement speed, swapped your weapons around and given you some pyro otherwise you have wasted atunement slots, as it stands that a pretty decent PVP build with the adjustments i made, but thats if you wanna play that kinda build

I randomly put the weapons there without paying much attention.

It's Shield + Spear/Sword actually.

If you want some practice go to the forest and wait for people to invade. I would also suggest medium or heavy armor for poise unless you are good at backstabbing/parrying. Also dont worry about losing health just stay focused on the fight. Try tnot to spam magic because that gets anoying.

Ditch the spear and make a partisan+15

ok so i put youe quellag sword you i put you enough poise
the 40 dexterity is for your quellag and estoc
have mobility as you say
and some good pyro
i Hope you like it
and rally you need to go to the forest there was where i learn the real pvp
be carefull there no rules in the forest there gonna be a lot of gankers gliches and other stuff

LOL everyone underestimates bows and spears. It's actually good really, cause both are ridiculously annoying to fight against.

I dunno...imo arrows are too easy to avoid..the projectiles also give away your position.

Using bows in PVE is fine tho.

But seriously this build has a cool looking armor set, and is pretty versatile - that buffed falchion will deal horrendously good damage.
