yeah yeah, i'm sure it's common knowledge.. but i've never seen it posted and using more than 4 spells was never common for me, even back in des.
anyways, i've been playing with my 5 spell katana caster recently, and i was getting extremely tired of having to manage the 5 spells in terms of switching them out.
then i realized, hey, why don't i just rearrange them!
at first they looked like this
cmw, csm, css, gcf, gc.
basically to go from soul spear to soul mass took 4 pushes. kind of insane tbh.
with less spells going toggling thru them is never an issue. it is with over 5 tho, so..
i rearranged them like this.
cmw, csm, gcf, css, gc.
what that does is let you toggle from soulmass to soulspear in only two presses, which is easy to do. going back from that is only 3, which is still manageable without rolling. swapping over to pyromancys was the same thing, 2 and 3 to get back to great combustion. i also made it so that going back to a spell to setup a combo took 3, as casting a long spell gives u time to switch back.
i don't know. it seems very obvious, but if you're like me and never really needed to know, well.. now you do! maybe this'll help you keep the pressure on with spells and up your game down the line, who knows.
