What is your favorite weapon?

Hello, i just wondered what your favorite weapon was for pve and pvp. How much do you use the weapon and why is it your fav?



My fav for pve is the Black knight great axe because it can kill most enemies in 1-2 hits. My fav for pvp is probably the great scythe +15 or the fire gargoyles halberd +10. They are both fairly strong and work well with my build. I have been using these weapons for a while and i have only faced a few problems like swing speed.

Lately my fav weapon has been Ricard's rapier.

PVE - Black Knight Halberd hands down, this weapon is just awesome!
PVP - Bandit's Dagger or the shotel

My favourite weapon is and has always been Iaito.
I know Iaito doesn't match with other katanas dmg-wise, but move-set is f*ing beautiful and the one handed R2-attack is very powerful dead angle-tool.

Gravelord sword, although I havent used one since my first build

It's gotta be the Moonlight Greatsword.

Moonlight Great sword (Pve because it adds extra functionality in NG++++ when everything is dangerous)

and the claymore +15 for PVP because it does 590 dmg (about 590) when I use it with my 626 toon.

I find the weapon to be simple and complex at the same time. The moves are solid, easy to understand, harder to master (I can't say many weapons are really hard to master, but that my just be my opinion). I like how it requires you to practice against targets. I enjoy the damage it does, and running in fear, shields up, or hitting them after a roll, I feel a good deal of satisfaction when you hear that FHOOSH sound. I like how its not used too often... I mean the weapon is terrible, never use it, stick with, I dunno, a stick or something. I like that it has fairly low requirements, and fine scaling (low letters, but higher base damage, so it works out ok). I always feel like I wasted points if my primary shield and my weapon don't use the same STR (which my favorite shield is the Black Knight's).

Normal rapier, if buffed that is a killer! Got a great moveset aswell and don't count it out on criticals... and then for PVE a Buffed Ricards - that 2h combo if you go in with RTSr procced and PW will almost OHKO any boss, makes the four kings a cakewalk on NG+8

Longsword +15 on my char currently at 164 (rising) doing 411 physical damage + 277 magic damage with CMW. Versatile, fast and powerful.

Edit: I'll spend 2 more levels on INT so I can use the Tin Crystallization Catalyst, which gives me +356 magic damage.

pve; mace/pickaxe buffed withe slb destroys bosses.
pvp; DGM it has awesome reach, can dead angle and its really powerful. greataxe is pretty good too.

PvE I almost always stick to my Estoc, you can pick it up early, it Crits like a truck, can benefit from Leo's or Hornets, only 3lbs best reach of the piercing swords... It's a beauty.

PvP BSS. It's versatile buffable low reqs and is formidable as +5 Chaos or Lightning for minimum dex/str builds

mine are iaito with fire or lightning or the washing poll + 15 with darkmoon blade buff will kill almost all darkwrath invaders in a few swings and has an awsome range plus the run and attack kills most in a hit or two especally when they try to use humanity. :>)

Balder side sword with Darkmoon blade +3 pve and pvp.

Even makes O&S a cakewalk.

Pickaxe.

Right now...Darksword and Sunlight straight Sword

Hmmmm, i think my new favorite weapon would be the +15 ricards rapiar with SLB. I like it for the really fast attacks and the high damage you can deal in a short time. At first i didnt think it would be good because of the lack of hit range, but after a few victories i found it to be pleasing.

pve:Great Sword +15 or Queelag's Furysword+5
pvp:Priscilla's dagger +5 , Silver knights sword/spear +5 or washing pole+15

Painting Guardians Sword;

Has the sweetest move set. Quick and agile. With DMB it'll take any boss down. Plus its looks baws. R2 attack hits 5 times, so that also give alot of damage out along with its bleeding. Only bad thing is the range. But hey, its not always bad being is their face!
