RE6/Souls multiplayer

Capcom might be getting what From Software already got: there's more than one way to do multiplayer . . bravo to them for realizing how revolutionary the online element of *Dark Souls* is . . . that *ds* dlc can't come fast enough - -

Agreed 100% mate! RE2 was revolutionary, the rest have sucked balls

I liked every game until 5, that game just wasnt resident evil what so ever. I thought 4 was good though, despite how different it was. The newly announced Ada stages actually look really cool, i wasnt planning on buying this but i might now. To bad i can buy just the leon and ada stages though

Save your money, I played it at SDCC and it didn't even play like a Resident Evil game, it played like an Uncharted Game with worse controls and an over the shoulder camera, and the games not scary...which is a big *** problem -_-

that sucks noob, personally it doesnt look good to me, last re that was fun for me was 2 but i was like 12 so it kinda made it more scary. its sad that theres no scary movies or games after youre thirteen, poo.

Im a huge survival horror fan and used to love all the Resident Evil installments that were released on Gamecube. Unfortunately 5 was meeh , and I didn't purchase ORC at all.

Im very excited for Dead Space 3 , and from what Ive seen so far , Im really happy with the way Visceral is implementing coop.,

without forcing an AI companion on us in single player , but changing cutscenes and the general story when playing through the campaign in coop

dead space 2 was awesome, i never got to play the first one which i might end up getting soon. the third one looks too much like lost planet but that co op looks fun. dead planet 2 was awesome too but i like the more tight spaces that dead space has.

But you def need to play the first part if you love the second !

Yeah Dead Space 2 was awesome , I played both but nowadays I much prefer playing the second

I thought 6 looked like crap at first, and its certainly not on par with the older games. From what ive seen of leon and adas campaigns though looks cool. I certainly wont buy it new though, seeing as two of the campaigns i have no interest in.

It really sucks that ada and leons stages are the last ones though, its like capcom knows the other two campaigns suck so they're trying to force you to play through them to get the good stuff. Or adas campaign will end up being like the mansion parts of re5, but i think they look a lot better then that.

unfortunately I haven't played games on PC for over a decade now.

I currently only own a laptop without a mouse lol , I couldn't even properly play Slender :evil:

Amnesia dont require a good hardware to be played and you can buy a cheap mouse :suspect:

It requires at least a fairly decent video card, i cant run it on my laptop either. I like a lot of the survival horror games from the ps2 days as well as the ps1 classics. Fatal Frame is a pretty underrated survival horror game.

Ive played 2 of the Fatal Frame installments and also the old Forbidden Siren games

I own the original siren game, the controls/game mechanics made it very hard for me to enjoy though. Maybe they just took more getting used to then i was willing to do. I have wanted to play the new one from this gen though.

its a shame the series isnt what it used to be but I did have dead space 1 & 2 which captured that same feeling . . . . OMG whats that noise. O.O please dont let be somthing that wants to eat me.

but Im worried that the new Dead space 3 will have a gears of war feeling with the weapons. and I was more looking forward to regular stuff with little ammo drops and not the shoot fest that the demo was.

If there is a mainstream franchise who I believe it can keep up the horror genre alive, is Dead Space. For those who think 2 was a corridor shooter, I refer you to the end of the 5 chapter, the first encounter with the Stalkers.

It was the most frightening moment in a horror game for me.

The fact that we've only seen an action demo is because you just simply can't show the horror aspect properly in an E3 presentation; you need to build the tension and ambience, you can't simply produce the horror out of nothing.

I really hope we will see more great installments to the Silent Hill franchise too
