You cant kill it. People have tried Amos destroyed it with his glass cannon and others have done smilar things. If you are killing it its a glitch or something.

I've seriously killed that bird before, i made it my mission in life, and it has a health bar, unlike the everlasting dragon. All it gave me was 3 souls and a "lol, no asylum".

Mine just vanished. I instantly got 3 souls and it just -poofed-. I did 2600 damage precisely.

More testing anywhere. Feel free to apply a test on it if you want. I used Crystal Homing Soulmass pre-patch (we've had a damage nerf), with RTSR, Bellowing, and Power Within. I didn't know about the dusk crown. 58 int with the Tin Crystal Catalyst.

Wait...what? I dealt 6000+ points worth of damage, got its whole HP bar drained in the same fashion as the stone dragon, and it just took off like the whole thing wasn't a big deal. Maybe killing it has to be done prepatch. It's possible they realized people could kill it and didn't want them not being able to get to the asylum again. If you guys really want to test it, try doing it pre 1.05

I just did enough damage to one shot it too, around 3000, and it did not die either. I say glitch, perhaps you should kill it again?
