I'm finally back
Hey after my extended vacation I have returned. Some of you won't care and some will but I figured I should say it. So anything happen in the world of Dark Souls or the forums while I was gone?

GS got lucky and got big, the NK are going into invigoration mod (and leadership has changed a bit). We've had a few trolls dealt with, more stuff on the DLC has been announced and you are back just in time to see me reach 9001 posts.

I've been looking into getting a Skype, I used to have one but hardly ever used it. Any tips for me, Dough?

Well I can't do that at the moment as my laptop is a family laptop and I don't have admin rights but I could probably get it to work on my Kindle Fire.

Re: I'm finally back
Hey Dough got Skype on my Kindle. Still figuring it out but I assume you are doughboy_1 as thats the closest to what you said earlier. Will add. I'm crusaderryan on Skype. Acidic my summoning could be smoother; coop is inconsistent at best but my efforts as a DM have been successful.

Re: I'm finally back
DM, Shmee Em; My gravelords gets them in the mix with the other blues I draw in from time to time, and it leave the entire combat in disarray with an absence of an eye for a reward. Still...
Still, I think the best part about the Darkmoon, is the fact that they hunt the indicted, which only reds can be indicted... many of my Gravelords have a few cracked eye orbs to get a maximum of 5 other phantoms in the world, if at all possible.

Re: I'm finally back
Well since the level gap of invasion is determined by sin I invade either those close to my level with a little sin or those far away with a lot. That means any low levels I invade are either active pvpers, griefers, or bb glitchers. It also goes up and down as you probably know. My favorite part is all the grief and hate I get for being a DM when people don't even understand how the Blue Eye Orb works and then their reaction when I give them this explanation. I DM because I want to pvp but I don't want to be a sinful cov member. I have a Forest Cov toon for the same reason. I'm considering making a GL for the same reason. But look I have gone off on a rant. Point is I love being a DM.

Re: I'm finally back
heh...
Gravelords are different than most, although share a similar path as Dragons and Darkwraiths in which they are alone, and even are secluded from members of the same covenant... although Dragons and Darkwraiths can still use enemies to their advantage.
Invaders can attack a maximum of 3 players... a Gravelord can battle a Maximum of 4 (5 in total in a world), and a rare sixth if a Darkmoon invades, although a Gravelord requires to sin, and the only way to sin is to invade with red orbs (Which is why I have cracked orbs).
Gravelords are designed for combat of one against many... although since reds can attack blues, sometimes combat can mix and turn between the spirits and the gravelord in general.
The gravelord covenant, PvP wise and other formats (PvE wise, when it works for three people), is a great covenant in terms of the amount of... difficulty, it brings for all players. Darkwraiths bring difficulty to the host, and Darkmoon do that to sinners (Forest do it to any non-forest hunters)... Gravelords can do it to three people's worlds in total with BP Enemies, the gravelord being outnumbered one against all in many cases, the Darkwraith as he has a chance of being destroyed by masses of blues, and the Blues as some are of the level's combative range, and equipment/skill is questionable as all and sometimes the blues are not always... organized.
Hardship for all for Ripe rewards; Every blue gets an eye, every red gets a humanity, and I can get either or... depending on which spirits I kill.
The Gravelord Sword was designed to be one of the top weapons in combat for a good amount of reasons... it was meant for the strongest to hold, and even the miracles are designed to combat many...
