Don't really care if it's "Dark Souls 2" or another " ____ Souls" game.
Just keep making them.
Please, for the love of God, don't ever end the Souls series D:

sparkly-twinkly-lizard wrote:yes fighting staff! so make fist weapon really be martial arts weapon and have kick attacks... dark hands move set would be... like ganondorfs from super smash bro's brawl?
Acidic_Cook wrote:Well, the game will have similar mechanics, similar enemies, simoilar ways. They might borrow the way of the bonfires and humanity, or they might replace it with something else entirely. if it were so, they would probably add more weapons in the mix, as well as possibly better weapon and magic choices. They might have magic such as elemental instead of pyromancy, since Pyromancy was created due to the Witches of Izalith. The setting will be medieval, as usual.
As the Demon's Souls was focused of Demons, and the Dark Souls based on Christian Lore (you can see it, but it is BASED, not is). They could borrow such ways as well. Maybe they will make the next souls game more massive, and possibly have a function simialr to Demon's Souls, teleporting to different groupings of areas to finish and clear, while exploring these mass areas. Since poise and such is included now, might be that they replace Humanity with even greater Souls, and possibly have the ability to, what say, create weapons that derive from the Soul Level of the Player, instead of Humanity. Not scaling of attributes, the Soul Level. Or it would scale with the amount of Souls held as spares.
Since one was spirits, and the other was undead, might be that phantom players might be back for offline purposes. As it were, they will probably include something similar to Covenants, and possibly add 'quests' to each of them, although similar to Dark Souls in a sense that it is free will. As it were, their will be better, greater bosses, and possibly new environments than the burrowed things from before
As it were, if it is a Dark Souls Sequel, I would prefer the Flame Ending. Such ways would make the world more... interesting, than choosing the overlord that was the player. of course, if the final boss was that of the Player previously, the Dark Lord, that would be interesting. or even more so, bring that being back from the original to the second. Either way, the Flame Ending will seem more appealing to see... or both.
