I step up onto the battlements watching the approaching beasty climb the stairs in an attempt to drop from above and crash my axe into his head *jumping attack*

You are standing on a small castle tower, below you about 10 feet is an empty plaza, there is a lever in the tower that would cause that plaza to explode in arrowy goodness. The plaza connects to a pathway that is still ravaged from your earlier brawl with the dragon. Another path leads from there to where two spearman are guarding a staircase leading into the town below. Behind you is a path slick with gasoline, you recall that out of sight is three fire bomb users that will light it on fire if you chose to run that direction.

I go ahead and pull the lever to trigger he trap. Any hollows down there should be insta-killed.

Yes I did, the hollow warrior was kicked off a cliff in an earlier post

You pull the lever, and watch the arrows launch into the courtyard. As deadly as the volley seems, there is nothing there to kill. The trap clicks as it reloads. What a fascinating contraption!

The two warriors see you approach, and they Both hold up their shield and try to push you back, waving their spears menacingly

I prep my talisman to cast force, running up to the spear blockade.

You charge the spear users, and in a fit of adrenaline you spam force three times while screaming a battle cry. One of the spearman falls over, the other runs down stairs fearing your might.

should have gotten that before Y_Y would have helped to turtle.

Also i'm adding two transient curses to your inventory. I somehow missed a player stating they picked them up back in thread #2

Hmm. I consider dropping the bow, but decide agaisnt it. I leave the spear and proceed down the stairs.

Also we're gonna replace the bow with crossbow once we get there anyways, right?

actually @Rynn are arrows universal or do the wrathful arrows only work in a crossbow?
