Why does 95% of all gankers, if you climb down the ladder, try jumping down and fall to their deaths, even if they've already tried it?

Because gankers are idiots. You, of all people, should know this by now.

Blood lust blinds their vision so they cannot see the prompt for "Climb Ladder".

Whats even more hilarious is how most of them do the plunge attack despite falling to their deaths, in the vain hopes of landing an attack on you.

The best PvP spot in the game by far!

Okay, may i ask where in the forest this is? Usual gank forest i dont remember a ladder unless you jumped out of the area glitch into the hydra area.

Heading towards the bobcats is another ladder leading towards the hydra.
It's a dead end, but a good place to retreat to if gankers won't leave you alone.

Exactly what i thought, the giant ladder to the hydra, however when i go in that area its fogged off.

Probably because they're afraid of you attacking them when they climb down.
I always jump down there when i'm hosting (alone) in the forest. The hunter is often hiding behind the "pillar" waiting for a chance to ambush me. I've never died from it yet, and most of the time i can heal before they notice me.

Maybe because there is that one chance, that tiny chance they manage what happened to me once. I've gone there and led many to stalemates or their deaths, but one time, one freaking time a guy jumped off while pressing R1 and actually landed on me pushing me into the water while he lived. It's also one of the few times I actually had a good PM conversation with a ganker.

Starting with me asking him if he ate an Eagle's Egg, and him recognizing the Nacho Libre reference.

Lol. I used to see a good number actually smart enough to know the drop point to that area away from the ladder. Why do I always get the smart gankers?

Maybe it connects you often to people who watch Jack Black films.

I've had several thousand good conversations with Gankers. Maybe it helps that i drop my white summon stone while I'm invading, so a majority of them have also ganked with me and know that they're just on the wrong side of the summon line, but at least 30% of the gankers in the forest seem to understand i fight dirtier then even they do, and so they laugh when i kill them with my Dragon Bow and other tactics. I've never had even a single ganker successfully jump down that ladder on me.
