Dark souls 2: Wishlist

Hyper armor for weapons over 10 units. Perhaps just delay the stun until the end of the animation, but once I get an axe as big as me and made of stone swinging, its finishing the swing regardless of what happens to me. This should be reflected in game, imo

super right, annoying that you need to stack poise to make sure your big swings go through. basically guarantees fat roll

We really need capes in Dark Souls two.. What kind of a hero are you if you don't have a cape?!

The option to sheathe our weapons would be nice.

LOL.We hereby place SHEATHING into the official WISHLIST book here at the forums. This would help ensure that you don't accidentally wack blacksmiths over the head and screw up your game, as well as add a nice stylish RP element. Make it a gesture, which would allow you to stylishly sheathe or withdraw your weapon whenever you'd like.

lol yeah it'd be cool if it was different for each weapon but that would be difficult if it were a gesture? I mean unless it could be done? where if using katana like weapons you wisk the blood away before sheathing like virgil in DMC and for swords you just give it a spin and sheath and great swords you tap it on the ground a little before hooking it on your imaginary back clasp

One of the things I like about the katanas in Dark Souls is that they do that after a one handed attack, minus the sheathing.

.... hmmm, maybe capes don't belong in the souls series.

i think a capes slot in the armor would be cool if dragon's dogma can do it so can dark Souls 2

No no no! Let's not get distracted here. Keep talking emotes/gestures. I like where this is going. Perhaps someone should make a thread specifically about gestures, and things we wished to see!

I would like to see slings or loops for weapons when you do sheathe them. For example when you whip out a bow and sheath a great scythe.... the weapon should fall into some sort of sling or loop that is visible on your armour.

Also I would like to see that if covenant are present in the game each faction has a sort of armour that represents that faction.

E.g- If DW are present then have Dark Armour, have a Gravelord Liche mode or suit of armour, Dragon Form, Chaos Armour, etc etc etc

That's exactly what i was about to say! Not sure if i mentioned it in my last post, but i would like to see some more work into the resistance stat. I remember finding out that it sucks after having invested several points into that stat in hopes that it would fit a tank and i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one either.

I've always loved character customization in games and only that feature has managed to pull me towards a game several times. In fact, that is what finally convinced me to get Dark Souls. Having said that, what i want is a better character customization, and while the one in Dark Souls is already good, i would like a more detailed one that also has an easier skin coloration than this one and some facial hair as well, and i mean REAL facial hair;

As for the capes-people didn't wear capes on the battlefield. I'm really glad Souls hasn't jumped on that bandwagon.

I'm pretty sure people didn't use magic on the battlefield either. Capes are cool.

Sorry Mr. Tart, but I'm not sure if current gen hardware has the capability to render of beard that epic. Just an image like that would crash most games.
