Put the remaing 5 points in dex for casting speed or vit/end/att play at 95 and see where you! think is best.

I would go 16 str this allows you to use more weps, some of the best dex weps require 16 str.

Unless he's ready to specialise a winged spear works just as well, without costing extra points. Spell choice is optional, that particular set is for the gfb/cfw/gc combo that racks up 2400+ damage.

They're both pretty good builds indeed.

How about upgrading this one to a SL100 build:

There's 40 points to spend to upgrade this char and I don't mind where they go. But if Strength weapons are good to use, then i'd like to go into that route. Otherwise I am completely fine with dex. I like armour rather than cloth (can deal with elite/paladin/dark armour if you prefer lighter pieces), but I can swap my headgear for a hat or particular headpiece you may have in mind (like logan's hat, or crown of dusk). I'm still keeping the poise as a SL60 to SL100, it just means anything else is a bonus.

The reason I say this, is because sooner or later when I get the hang of dodging and parrying, I'd like to don heavier armour and weapons and experiment in that aspect of bigger poise breaking.


I hope that doesn't sound too complex, thankyou for your efforts and consideration.

Could use zweihander or swap to heater shield and large club

I DO like the zweihander, especially if I learn to parry with that thing I can 1HKO virtually anyone.

@seth An elemental zweihander deals about 350 damage per hit (through 350 defense,) without the hornets ring a parry shouldn't break 1100. With the hornets ring you're looking maybe 1400, on the high end. 1400 won't Ohko most times. Really hurt, but not Ohko.

Well it's close one, but what about a chaos zwei?

Thats what I'm refering to. Without the hornets ring, Ohko riposts are fairly difficult to manage. The large club though, in both hands (only in both hands due to the under 40 str), would probably riposte for 1300 ish without the hornets ring and 1500+ with, much more likely to Ohko, if thats what you're going for.

Why? Its not like we're the biggest, most active cov with several of the most dangerous forum dwellers as members............oh wait, we actually are.

its more of a personal matter for me and i dont care if we are the biggest with a few of the most powerful forum dwellers who happen to be in a very active cov. that and my matter are completely different and making that fact or opinion worthless in comparison.

Make me a build. SL55 with no INT no FAI maybe 1 attun for BF and a weapon I don't use enough. (trust me you wont accidently pick the weapons I've been using too much lately)

I don't care what it is, so long as you think it's a build that can win fights. I just need some freshness, maybe even a midrolley guy, all my builds end up with me finicking until I got a spear and I feel comfy and win everything forever with poke rolls.

http://mmdks.com/1gjy Hows that? Start with hornet or hawk, swap to wolf if forced to fight straight up. Can menu swap to shotel for turtles. bow because stealth archers are awesome in dark areas (new londo, forest)

Its less about fighting, than it is angering questers and gankers and leading them to their doom.
