Interesting Idea, though when i was checking this I though it was for more then Online RP
I've worked a few good RPGs int the D&D/Modern D20 universe. Fallout was especially interesting.
Odd enough while playing Dark Souls this idea did pop up as well, but alas it seemed like too much work. Not too mention it would just be D&D with the DMs sole intent on killing you. Like playing at level 20 but still level 1. I'm pretty sure most groups would not like starting over after 1hour of playing at level 1 lol

Other then that sorry to intrude enjoy your RP. I'd join but I just don't have the time. Heck this is the most I've posted today in the forums in one sitting. Think I'm on 4 posts today

Ok guys, since the Undead Asylum is just a tutorial level, you will all start at Firelink Shrine.

Important notes: In order to keep things fresh, I'm changing some things, enemy spawns might be different and some items like Gold Pine Resin in the chest might be swapped for other items, but quest items will remain in the same place.

    ........
A strong gust of wind blows your face, you feel it even in the darkness, you open your eyes...
The crow that assaulted you before is carrying you with its sharp talons, you look down only to find out that you are flying above a deep sea.
After a few hours of travel you reach a giant ruin, it looks decayed and most of it is covered in moss, you notice a small sparkle in the distance.
    A bonfire...
You saw some bonfires at the Undead Asylum, but you never saw a flame like this, it looked stronger.

The crow finally slows down, suddenly you don't feel stuck anymore, but the crow throws you near a patch of grass near the bonfire, you take a quick grasp of your surroundings, you see a nearby man in chainmail armor...

I approach the man in chainmail, doing my best to be polite and not startle him with my appearance.

    SL 80
    Name: Thomas
    Race: Human
    Sex: Male
    Character: BAD *** (Lawful evil?)
Vit 30 (Vitality is the same here)
Sur 10 (Attunement has been replaced by a Survival stat, survival allows you
to create weapons or items out of normal materials, for example with
some firebombs you could make C4 or something)
End 15 (Allows you to equip more stuff and to resist habitats)
    Str
5 (You hit harder and can equip weapons that require strong
    force...strength also allows you to enslave/beat up/ r-ape things...)
Dex 40 (You handle weapons effectively and you adapt to most situations)
    Res
5 (This is now more useful, you will be able to resist deadly toxins,
also you will have more poise and won't be staggered easily)
Int 10 (Makes you capable of learning spells, also makes you intelligent)
Fai 5 (Makes you capable of learning miracles)
Chr 10 (Makes you able to persuade people into doing what you want them to do)

I think starting with a score of 40 is too high to start with. If this is at all similar to d&d stats, 30 is the number normally associated with gods; level 30, stats in the 30s and so on. Having a stat of ZERO should also mean that that character has absolutely no amount of that-for example, a being with 0 intelligence cannot think whatsoever; it's an inanimate object. Even the base 5 is extremely low when considering that's half of an average person's intelligence.

On another note, DMing should only be done for entire groups when they're actually together. Otherwise, it should be done on an individual basis. This will have to be a big project with a lot of work on your part to work well.

Also, about the DMing thing, since time in Lordran is distored, players have a low chance of seeing each other, this can be negated with the effects of a "special" item that the player can find or create with the Survival stat.
