It was the dark moon grass and nah, it didn't suck. It was actually very difficult to get more than one grass down against the "pro" players, they were masters at punishing those that tried to heal LOL.

I want to hear how you rationalize this, if that is ok with you. Tranquil walk of peace is so far from overpowered now it is silly to complain about it. Unless you are online pre 1.5 somehow you should be able to win easily against anyone still using it.

Also, backstabs are the whole point of some weapons and playstyles. You are literally saying that entire playstyles based around fast weapons with no hit stun aren't fair.

Certain weapons need to be able to backstab, that is the whole point of a high crit multiplier. Why are backstab one hit kills not ok but greatswords stunning you all the way from full health to death with huge swing arcs perfectly fine? :?:

Well. We could avoidkilling the moonlight butterfly and us that area. As well as blighttown arena if u wat to make ur toon specifically for hosting. Perhaps new londo.

I'm not saying twop is overpowered I believe that kind of advantage does not have a place in GM pvp.

You prove a solid point on the backstab issue, what I want to have is a diverse builds compete so I will keep a more open mind of that strategy. What I do not want to see is just a 2 part move set of hold sheild up/BS for 20 matches in a row x 15. The rest will find out once people start dueling.



How do people feel about painted guardian cathederal in anor londo?

Imcool with that area. Light or dark? If its dark I worry about darkmoon invasions.

I'm all for the higher lvl I have a character at about 235 I think. but about TWOP I don't use it personally but I have never lost to anyone that has used it on me because they are usually too close when casting it and I just haul off on them with a greatsword or BKGA

I like the painted guardian area and I can host there. but blighttown is good too I don't think I have ever been invaded or gotten to invade either it stays pretty dead there. ppl just trying to get through and get out. the second bonfire arena would be great but can't host there at the moment

how about that little arena area on blightown's second bonfire? that is if you guys can live without beating quelag

@Scudman-Slayer I like the Queelag arena but I can't host just kill her earlier today with my high lvl toon but if you or someone else can that would be great.

Anyway lets stop talking about a new area and do it. I'm putting the invitation out on 1/27 I will host in painted guardian area for 200 lvl tournment from 8pm-midnight east coast time to anyone that wants to play. I think my toon is about lvl 235 I'll get back to you all with exact number. I will summon white, gold, red, and hopefully dragon signs too but I'll welcome DM and DW too if courtesy rules can be honored. let me know who interested and another host or more would be great if a lot of ppl want to fight. :affraid:

@Russian- I'm level 230 so if nobody is worried about a lvl 200 cap I'll be there. Should be able to make it at the designated time but might be a little late.

Sounds good, here are my ideas for some rules:
*No TWoP
*No WoG/GC spamming
*No estus healing, OR healing only if both are at very low HP, to "reset" everything since OHKO vs OHKO isn`t really fun
*No BS? Not sure at that level, but BS are just really lame imo
*Allow the other person to buff after bowing

my anor londo is light, ive figured FOR THE LADDER cap is 200 using red soap stones.

Also I don't have much of a prob with WoG. Unless there's 6 of them lol. But were in the chuch so its ok, plenty of space to dodge.

The SL for the ladder is flexible! If 200 is too much for the community then 180 is a good number as well

This wont be starting for a week or two.
