when it comes to healing, but parties have the option to heal. just as an invader, the cost of healing is greater (i.e. having to use a humanity). but at the same time the host has a chance of losing humanity by dying.
healing takes time and leaves you very vulnerable. if you try it, its a risk. if your opponent is giving you the time and space to heal and pull it off, there should be no complaints. as the invader, he should be on the offence.
and limiting spell use and things like that are weak. TWoP is not even that effective anymore.

Once again I know TWOP has been nerfed but this does not belong in gm pvp! Tell me what use it has besides near crippling your opponents movement while allowin you to retain full movement?
Back on the healing aspect if the communnitys general consensus is healing being hi risk hi reward and that ideology is already established then I won't try to change that.

How about starting the ladder with SL 180?
Then the community can decide whether to increase or decrease the cap (150 or 200).

Bringing the SL down to 180 would limit characters at least a bit.

Thats a very good point and argument for 180.
Taking that in consideration.

this thread has convinced me. I will bring 1 toon to the 180 level and test the waters. I will notify this thread when I'm there. And hopefully there will still be some momentum for some prearranged pvp.

120 cripple build lol. only someone who has never created a decent 120 build would say that.
it is definatly possible. its only "crippling" in the sense that it cant cast every single spell, cant wield every single weapon. ect. around level 200 all builds will be exactly the same.

Well I say 200 cause I want to fight ppl with the sqame buil. I have 2 20's if I ant build specific pvp. I wanna pvp with gs of artorias

im on my way to 180 and dont see any real issue with fighting someone at lvl 200 or higher to be honest. i dont think those extra 20 or so points are going to make 'that' big of a difference.

A lot of my builds are weak at 180, they are mixed up and would be more solid for a gs of artorias build.
