How does the arena work exactly?

The instruction say: STAY ON TOP OF THE TRAP-DOOR TO BECOME HOST.

1) Doest it mean i can roam around the arena while waiting for someone to host?

2) To challenge a friend, do we have to wait on the trap-doors, each of us on the opposed one?

3) To start a 2v2 do i have to summon a friend and then enter the arena?

4) Do the level restriction apply in the arena? Can i pvp vs a lvl 50 as a 90? Or is it the "10% sl +/- 10" still applying?

I don't know, so i'm just subscribing to this thread to find out.

Those are all good questions, I'm hoping someone will come and answer them. I've been wondering how it works too.

Has anyone dueled int the arena yet?

1. No. You can roam around the arena after you are dropped there via trapdoor (duel begins)

2. I think there is no 100% way to challenge your friend

3. I think your team mate is always random (not sure, but from what I've seen)

4. there are different brackets for lvls on the arena ( don't remember what the lvl brackets are though )

LOL I love how random it is.

I have played a couple in the past days and this is how I believe it works.

First each trap door has a spacial importance.

Lets call the host door north, which has the orange soapstone signs in front on the floor.

East, South and West are the summoning doors.

If you want to play with someone, a friend or a rival. You need to have your friend stand across from you. Example: I host so I stand at the North door, my brother is the summon and challenger he sits at the south door. He gets summoned pretty quickly.

Now level mater. From what I have tested, the +/-(10 +10% of your level) still works but I can't garantie. I have hosted(i'm 60) vs lvl 55 and 65 and those are the only successful ones.

For the others. BattleRoyal example. I sat across from my brother and we were both in the same game, waiting for other people. So where you stand HAS an importance.

Lastly red rigns tell you somebody is standing there.

Duels work flawlessly but I don't recall being able to rematch. I think after you defeated someone there is a timer to prevent cheating or farming of score.
