This petition is saying to hire Professional Moderators or none at all.
It even calls for stricter conditions on who's considered a cheater,
unlike the recent, lax petition by Peeverson.

Unlike games like Diablo III and Guild Wars 2, you don't sign any EULA to play Dark Souls as far as I know. Therefore, From has zero authority to ban people from playing the game they paid for. The only agreement cheaters are in violation with is MICROSOFT, or SONY. And good luck getting either of those corporations to dump money into moderating their players. Companies like Blizzard cater very much to a multiplayer community, hence all the security and agreements you have to click on when signing up for their multiplayer environment.

Do I have a point? I'm no expert on this matter.

Im so glad they fixed the dragonhead/bb glitches and hope duping wont get out of hand like it did on ps3/xbox.
But I dont think much will happen to those cheaters... it never does

for the love of god, no more petitions.

You guys got what you asked for in your petition, dark souls on the pc, a direct port. It was obvious all along that there would be hacking as no extra measures would be taken compared to the console releases, and asking for any more from FROM who have already catered more than enough for you, is simply too much.

Is hacking bad? Of course. But we don't need another petition to tell FROM about problems they're probably well aware of and are already considering action on most likely.
