Solaire bug?

So I came across this weird issue with Solaire for the first time ever.

in the process of trying to get Solaire's armor when defeating him in Lost Izolith, I came across this.

I knew something was up when he wasn't at the Bonfire the first time I got to Anor Londo, but I was still able to summon him for the Ornstein and Smough Fight.

Afterwards, his summon sign was no where to be found in it's usual spot at the Centipede Demon, Nor was he anywhere to be found after defeating it. That being said, he wasn't at the Sunlight maggots at all further into Lost Isoleth.

I never joined the Chaos Covenant and I never openned the door.

Is there anyone who can provide insight into where I may have went wrong here?

Did you talk to him where you first meet him near the Dragon Bridge? If not, then that's the problem. I had this issue once. I didn't talk to him at the Dragon Bridge where he first is and played through the game like normal but like you his sign never appeared at the Demon Centipede boss.



If you haven't spoke from him then you are going to have to go back and talk to him at the Dragon Bridge, then go talk to him again in Anor Londo. Then the sign should appear. At least that's what I had to do.

Yeah, I spoke to him at the Dragon bridge. Seems to be the only way to get the White Soap Stone.

His sign appeared for the Gargoyles, at the Gaping Dragon, and for Ornstein and Smough. I summoned him for all 3 fights.

The weird thing was he was never at the Sunlight Alter or Anor Londo, and his sign didn't appear at the Centipede boss, nor was he in his usual spot after the fight.

Hmmm. Well I have no idea then, sorry. I just remember that I once passed by him near the Dragon Bridge, never spoke to him. I was able to still summon him for the Gargoyles, Gaping Dragon, and Ornstein and Smough (though he wasn't at the bonfire in Anor Londo) fights but then I got to the Demon Centipede and his sign wasn't there until I went and did his quest line speaking to him at the bridge, then Anor Londo, and then at the Sunlight alter. I don't think it matters if you are a sunbro or not.

Maybe try talking to him again and then check Anor Londo after that.
