Hey guys, first post...started play DkS again after many months away and Im wondering that ledge in the woods where you could lure the knight, cleric, hunter etc has been patched or something? They are able to follow me right there without jumping to they're deaths Should i just take them on individually if possible? Im very low sl maybe 30 but the +2 black knight sword seems pretty effective. Just playing pve to see if i can actually finish the game

Re: DG Farming?
Parry the Claymore knight if you can. It takes 2 to 3 at that level. The sorcerer can be bsed without aggroing the theif. The theif circle and spams R1 but is easily parried and stunlocked. The cleric is the easiest. She casts SS as soon as you do damage so back her up against the ledge at the begining or stunlock her. The Bandit is the second trickiest one out of all of them. The easiest way to kill him is to stunlock him after he does an overhead swing or roll bs him at the begining of his attack.

Option 2:
Follow the glowing flowers carefully, you can avoid most of the guys and trees, especially if you have hidden body or aren't glowing and have lighter armour.
You can then leap across the chasm avoiding all enemies, pick up the ston armour and join the Forest Covenant if that's what you wish.
Edit: Never mind. Looks like you want to farm this area for souls. You can get twinkling titanite from: Crystal Lizard in Burg, Crystal lizard in Dark root basin, and I know there's another one but can't think of it that's easy to obtain to level up your sword...

Re: DG Farming?
They still jump off the cliff for me. Sometimes they need some encouragement, but they still do it with much aplomb.

Re: DG Farming?
You have to make sure you let them follow you close enough so they don't lose interest, and then just hang out on that narrow spot between the stairs and the cliff and wait. You need to go as far back as you can. Sometimes they run around a little before doing it.
If they start to walk away you can normally run after them to get them involved again.

Re: DG Farming?
It works for me.
Also, sometimes they back off. I have found that equipping a bow when almost anything is in range will(usually) make it charge.
