Titanite Demons can Grab you?

Was just fighting one with Artorias shield so i could just chill right by his body using combustion, and the guy grabs me and slams me twice which almost kills me.

Did anyone else know this? first time that one has ever done this to me, was really quite the surprise..

Yeah they killed me a bunch of times with this sort of grab, when they do a very slow attack animation you have to dodge instead of block, the one in Lost Izalith does this very often

Yes sir, I have been demolished on multiple occasions by that move. I am surprised that u havent experienced it, yet u seem like you have played the shyte out of this amazing game!

Yeah that's the reason I only snipe these guys now

LOL i usually stick to their back when i fight them or range them, no grabbing for either of those tactics

First time I was ever grabbed by one I was low lvl in the Catacombs. *DEAD* haha

It's their most damaging move (or second after the lunge, but i think it outdamages even that) but also the move with the longest wind-up and least range

I've noticed a pattern with them, if you stick just behind the missing leg, they generally sweep their catchpole twice, then wind-up and lunge, if you stick near in front of them, they'll sweep a couple times then try to grab you

ultimately its best to hit a couple times, back off, etc, all while staying relatively close to their side and behind, watch the tail though, it also does damage

Yeah, I usually just through my lightning spears at them. Their lightning bolt is crazy easy to dodge.

I wont forget my first time fighting the titanite demon (undead parish). I saw it, screamed, "HAVE AT YOU, FOUL BEAST", charged at it, swung my bastard sword... and did 36 damage. Then it proceeded to utilise my body as a mop for the duration of the fight.

NG+++ titanite demons. I'd rather avoid them. They are a pain in the ***. I just don't care how much demon titanite they drop.
