get out of the area of effect it has, if you're hit by it at spawn point cant avoid it though :/

If you caught in it move towards the caster and start hitting him with all you have thats really the only way. Once you are in the AoE you cannot escape, if you gonna die best do it swinging.

I killed a guy earlier while he was using it, had my catalyst out and BAM, 2 Crystal Soul Spears and he was done. He could've dodged the second one but he failed, lol.
