Anor londo Archers

Hey guys I've found a easy route on taking out the archers In Anor Londo.

what do guys think or do you have a alternative method? :o

I generally use low-weigh equipment and run fast as hell to the archer in the right (with my shield up and back facing wall). As soon as the archer draws his sword I get back to the narrow bridge and wait his fall to death, then proceed to the bonfire.

My methods of doing it:

1) fog ring and poison arrows (easiest)

2) if you are in new game plus then you can shoot the archer on right with three arrows and he falls off leaving the other guy to be easily taken care of (still easy)

3) put on flip ring and hug the wall and run for the guy in the left and roll when the right guy fires an arrow and you can roll through it, or back roll and you leave hit boxes quicker, then you can fight the guy behind the piler so you are safe (chance of screwing up)

I don't see the problem people have with these archers. I just sprint up, doesn't matter what armor I wear, turn to the archer on the right, roll under the arrows if he gets any off, parry/riposte. Easy as pie.

I think its really down to crazy chance, like on my first playthrough I don't remember much but I never had a problem with them guys. Then I got to new game plus I dies sooo many times and had to look up ways to do it.

If you are unsure about parry, riposte method, just stand at the bottom with a pharis, use poison arrows. Hide behind the left pillar and creep out a little. If done right, the SK arrows will hit the pillar (his angle put the trajectory to far to your left) and you can shoot him with your Pharis bow (trajectory puts your show to the right). Use poison arrows. 3-4 shots, wait... 3-4 shots, wait... Dead.

I find that using a Fog Ring or Hidden Body, along with a Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring or Hush, a slow walk to the top, and an Ascended Pyro Flame and Great Combustion combo usually puts paid to the one on the right without me receiving so much as a scratch. Failing that I simply run to the top, and parry/riposte his butt off the edge. Easy as pie!

ahh thank you very much its off a game called disgeae that I love to play.

Poison arrows, some type of bow, and ring of fog is the easiest, most reliable way to do this.

Ring of fog requires a trip through the catacombs + hawk girl, or online w. the forest covenant, but it's not difficult to get. Just takes in game knowledge.

I just run up and parry/riposte them now, and if I get shot off/miss/die I equip a ring of sacrafice and try again.

Armor makes little to no difference on this one, as long as you can sprint long enough to get up the ramp you can take out the knight on the right hand side easily with a parry/riposte or simply smacking him with your weapon respectedly while hiding behind a shield. If your using a great shield of any kind, there's also a chance he will simply fall off the edge after his swings ricochet off of it. After that, you can simply ignore the one of the left or use the same tactic on him.

Done correctly in any play-through, this becomes a very simple encounter.

True, true like for example, the eagle shield is good for taking them on or the silver or black knight shield is good. The only way to survive them is to have a strong shield and good stamina.
