Taunting Bosses...

Do you ever do it?

Who are your favorites to taunt?

And...

Who would you never taunt, and why?

My reason for asking is that I find myself doing this a heck of a lot of late, and just last night I spent well over half an hour taunting a badly limping Sif under the flimsy pretense that I was practising my dodging technique, when in fact I was doing nothing more than take the right royal ps out of the mangy mutt, and having a whale of a time doing it!

Only boss I ever find myself taunting is 4 Kings when I'm helping someone out with them.

Hehe... when I am doing a low level COOP to help new players, I will sometimes Praise the Sun before jumping off the tower during the Taurus Demon fight.

I usually just taunt the Taurus Demon. That being because he always seems to very pissed off, so i usually just pretend i'm the one pissing him off...

Edit: Oh, i always taunt Ornstein & Smough with the ''Well, what is it'' to start things off, ending with the ''Point down''.

I never taunt bosses, doesn't seem worth it. I just speed run the game at this point.

Only when I co-op, but that's because I just gesture a lot more in general when I co-op.

Better do it quick then, because I baited the mangy mutt something rotten again last night on my NG+ run-through, and will probably do the same again the next time our paths cross on NG++!

Best thing I've done that was a 'taunt' (wasn't, was just gesturing) was I was hosting in the forest, and normally I summon an additional phantom and we take turns 1 on 1 (and if there's a double invasion, then it's stick together, wait till its 2 on 2 then no holds barred with expectations they'll try to doulbe team the host if possible).

Anyways. Waiting in the big open area where the Bandit is, and see the invader. Both wave. Invader pulls out a bow, starts shooting. Bow isn't doing much damage, maybe 50 per hit. So we just keep bowing and waving while he's filling us with arrows, healing every so often. Eventually my buddy got bored and went after him, I stuck to the hill, but still really laughed hard at it.

Why can't I meet you in the forest, it's all gankers for me. 1 or 2 shotting people before they see me is fun and all, but a good duel once in a while would be fun too :silent:

@ ssss 2 is pwnage, you know it, and together with my liberal use of the emote I'm really a class act!

I tend to taunt the Iron Golem, but that's only because I don't fight him.
