Movesets you hate

Post what weapon has the moveset you cannot stand! It does not have to be the entire set, it can be a specfic part.

I myself really hate the Lifehunt scythe's regular attack. It just urks me that you are slamming down the very tip of the weapon into the ground. It is an insanely vertical move (little to no horizontal hit box). I imagine a scythe having a more horizontal moveset rather than me slamming the tip into the ground like a pickaxe.

BSS's OP R2s.

The range and power behind that is insane too.

I love my BSS R2s. ;-;

I agree with the Great/lifehunt Scythes r1.

I also hate the r2 of the DGM. It's so damn useless, even in PvE.

You can take down BB glitchers with that Baller Swag Sword heavy attack. It's pretty insane, but I'm glad to have had it in those situations.

As for movesets I dislike? Axes and hammers of all sizes. There just isn't enough versatility and a failed strike leaves you incredibly open. Ultra greatswords have this beautiful diagonal sweep as their light attack, which works great as a direct attack or as a punishment tool for both excessive dodging and backstab fishing. Oh, and dead-angling, of course. They also get a thrust out of a roll, so if you can fast roll, you have a powerful, long-ranged attack that's quick to execute.

When it comes to the role axes and hammers play, the comparable sword types just beat them with versatility and speed. When a battleaxe is 5 units of weight and the claymore is 6 units, but with a better moveset, longer range and more damage, which are you going to pick? Axes and hammers got left in the dust in this game, at least in my opinion. If you have less than 10 dexterity, then they're some of the only options, but your dexterity will only really be that low if you're a heavily dedicated strength build.

I might try axes, if anything the Gargoyle tail axe. I swung it around for fun and I think I saw some potiental in it.

The regular Halberd I quite dislike, actually.

Whaaaa one of the best weapons and movesets in the game imo (for str/dex builds, my fav).

That 1h R2 swing, that 2h R2 breaking medium shield blockers, and put on the Leo ring for extremely long and quick 1h and 2h R1 stabs that hit HARD.

I'm not a fan of many of the polearm weapons, this weapon just isn't for me. :|

katana r1 moveset... it makes no friggin sense thats how an amateur waves about a kitchen knife not how one wields one of the finest types of sword to ever exist. instead of straight up and down, a diagonal slash followed by a horizantal slash would look better imo...

I love the Pike, but it's running attack is kind of ridiculous. It's fun to try to land, and REALLY fun when you actually do land it, but if it had the more standard, controlled running attack of the other spears it'd probably be my favorite all-around PvP weapon.

The weapon I dislike most in the game is the Great Club. All that big awesome. Exactly ONE decent move in the pool.

The Halberd, Gargoyle Halberd, Black Knight Halberd, and the Scythe's R1 attacks.

The Demon Great Machete's R2 attacks are useless in just about all situations. The Demon's Greataxe is slightly better in this regard, but still pretty bad.

The Black Knight Greataxe's R1 attacks (if you miss, there's no penalty? really?)

The Darksword's R2 attacks, haha.

I hate, believe it or not; the cresent axe.
Why is this weapon so long? Seriously? It's insane for dead angling, insane for chipping, and it's just INSANE.
I'm going to make a build around it.

I figured the polearms and axes would get hate for their attacks. Then we have specfic moves...this has been quite interesting so far.

I've learned to hate 2 weapons lately: Great Scythe and BSS.

The Tail Axe is insane as an elemental weapon, and I'd imagine as a low level PVP toon you will take care of EVERY roll BSer.

I REALLY dislike the abundances of katanas and BSS. It's all I see in the Burg and really a good portion of the people there just either mash r1 (katana) or r2 (BSS).

I think the Whips were overall the most disappointing to me. I was sure that because they were so unique they'd have super badass dex-type moves, like the backstep would be a spin move that slashed the whip 360 degrees or something. Pff. Hardly. Nothing at all exciting about them.

I agree, whips have such a bad moveset, they're really slow for a dex weapon. Also I really don't like halberds (don't ask me why, I just really don't like the movesets (although the BK halberd R2 attack look pretty cool)).

Also, StockpileThomas, why don't you like the Demon greataxe's R2 attacks? The 1H R2 attack is fairly decent considering its a big, wide sweep attack.

Actually, I DO like the R2 attacks, but they're pretty hard to land. The sweeping attack can be pretty effective at swatting away BS fishers and second, upward strike sends opponents flying, which is awesome.

The BK sword seems so clunky compared to a Zwei-hander.
I actually hate the painting guardian swords moves as well.

Scythes. Moveset logic:

Hey! This scythe seems to be really good for sweep attacking.
Your right, look at that range too! What should the R1 do?
Ignore the massive sweep attacks this thing can do and make it completely vertical!
