When people leave a covenant. The leader/members of the cov often take this very personally. This shows that we take the covs very personally. This is a good thing (most of the time).
But we also take breaking alliances and such as very disrespectful. This makes the covenants politics tricky. Because some people might take it personally, and then they can't separate the RP character from the person. So making RP decisions might be very hard sometimes, harder than it should be IMO.
One thing i thought of today, maybe there could be a rebellion in one (or more) of the largest covs? Some members would join and some wouldn't. It doesn't have to be a war between the members, it might just be that some leave, and make a new cov together (that would have similarities to the cov they left). I'm not going to do this, but since we seem to need some kind of "action" right now.
Sorry, that first part was just me rambling  .
