The DWGR can still be used. It's not exactly bad, i've got a build using it and it works fine. It just makes more sense now, because can you honestly say that it does not, in some way ruin the atmosphere with a big fatty armored mf flipping like a monkey on LSD? Not to offend anyone, but it's not very realistic, is it? But then again, are dragons? Point being, the pvp seems a little bit more fair now in some ways. Though, i do understand people missing it and BBG as it has become a habit using something like that.

I never used it with heavy armour, but my halberd, armour of thorns toon just doest feel the same without the flip.. tried it with havels and fathers mask, cant get equip down to 25% tho

Ugh, man, i'm not trying to start a flame war or even insult you, but goddamn it i hate seeing havels with any of the family masks, same for giants. So i'm really happy not to see that anymore. Either way the midroll is better, so you should be able to appreciate that one with heavy armor.

I meant havels ring, not havels armour.. Even with havels ring, and the fathers mask, i cant get my dark wraith to flip..

use the dark armor with 40 endurance and the fapring with havels ring and have wepons on 10 units togheter and you will be able to fast roll

Ah, an apology on my part then.

Even then, you can still get fast rolls, though at the loss of some stats invested in endurance.

RoFaP is an option. But i took it off for the 4 kings fight. I can trade something with snuggly for another one can't I ?

I hated it from the start. Not for pvp sake, but cosmetics. No armor set, nothing looks'right' with that flip animation. It looks SO awkward. Glad its'balanced' now but i still don't use (but rarely) it for the simple fact i hated how it looks.

I'll kinda back Gambs on this. For me though it'll be more adjusting. I do most of my PvP in the forest and the guys there using the ring all panic CARTWHEEL/HANDSPRING. So the Great Scythe was able to get them usually without the CARTWHEEL/HANDSPRING animation being an issue. However, for my use the Bieber ring made me faster and allowed me to escape double and triple teams better. I need to adjust my game now but they barely lost an advantage since they have two or more people dodging one attack which they weren't good at with the Bieber ring. I have two or more attacks to dodge with a reduced speed. Advantage gankers in this case. Like I said, get adjusted, start kicking tail.

Another thought on this though. I have had a couple duels in other areas and one on one fights are much better without it. I fought a guy medium armor who still wasn't cartwheeling or handspringing and got to fight my way rather than Forest Guerrilla warfare. That was nice. Also, I didn't need much adjustment there. I was effective immediately with the first duel.

I guess I'm saying that just like before it was nerfed, the Bieber ring was a mixed bag.

I would also like to add the bieber ring has come full circle. It was dubbed the Bieber ring because, much like the Bieber of lore, it was destined to be successful, popular, pervasive and annoying. And just like the Biebers of the world go, it's popularity was destined to wane, it's pervasiveness falter and annoyance change to jokes of "remember when."

So the next haunting question is: What will be the next Dark Souls Bieber?
