I still needed to buy great heal and homeward to farm stuff! NoOoOoOoOoOoO! Petrus killed her but I did not kill any boss WTF! Now I cant buy those Miracles my Arena run is ruined.

This Wki says I have to beat 2 bosses before this happens! Dont worry Petrus died in the most hatefull way possible. But I wonder if the DLC has changed some of these events?

I always make sure to buy everything I want from her right away, just to avoid this. I had my own Rhea tragedy once....went down to rescue her on NG+ so that I could add another set of WoG, giving me 6. Her buddies were giving me more of a hard time than expected, so like an idiot, I cast my original WoG miracle to soften them up. Only I didn't realize she was still in range, and this really pissed her off. Chases me around for a while, then jumps off the cliff. NOOOOOOOO! Reloaded and found her drop sitting on the ground.

I don't think it's about killing two bosses but going to 2 other areas or something like that.

If you saved her early from ToG, I'm sure you didn't warp, so that would be Church>Sen's>Anor Londo
3 areas, may be that triggered it. If you warped, then I have no idea what happened. If I want to keep Reah alive, I usually kill Petrus after I save her, just to make sure.
Also: you can buy homeward from Petrus.
And don't worry, great heal it's not that of a big deal. 1 heal with standard faith heals about 70% of your health, just cast it twice, you have plenty of time while your enemy respawns at the arena.

As soon as I get out of the Catacombs I tend to just kill Petrus as a roleplaying thing, lol. Between his pompous attitude, his cowardly antics, and that stupid haircut, he deserves it.

Honestly... great heal is pretty garbage unless you need a big heal in the middle of a battle or something. Assuming you will be healing between rounds, heal is the way to go anyways...

It's why I make sure I have got the lordvessel and a tonne of souls when I go to rescue her , buy all her stuff straight away then let her hollow out in dukes.
