What's the one weapon you use almost all the time?

Quelaag's Fury Sword +5 - great for anything weak to fire.

Pharis' Bow +10 or above - the accuracy cannot be beat. I typically only use bows for PvE so far.

Silver Knight Shield +5 - anything but fire.

Black Knight Shield +5 - oh this thing has fire

Crest Shield +5 - lower weight than the SKS and good against magic users

I've not had enough time to experiment much with the new weapons.

Black Knight GreatAxe - For when I am too lazy to hit the B Button and want to Tank **** all day.

I use the balder side sword +5 lightning a lot in PVP.

But in PVE I revolve around using Zweihander +15, Longsword +15, and the Greatsword +15. Since it revolves around those three so much I don't thinki I could just choose one.

gravelord sword (love the toxic build up and guard break) and bandits knife (+15 with poison resin), followed by the estoc and possibly the iato coming in a tie for third place

BSS, although I am now trying to open my horizons a bit by giving all the other weapons a go.

Is the BSS normally dropped by the knights in Sen's Tower, or do all the Balders have a chance of drop?

Any Balder Knight wielding one will eventually drop it given enough time, but I prefer to get mine early, and so always do my farming on the three BSS Knights in the Parish.

Halberd+15 =) for pvp and pve

Don't really have one, though the Gravelord Sword has been my weapon of use until i can max out the weapon i plan on using for most characters. Otherwise, the weapon i've used the most is Cursed GSoA, though i've gotten more of a liking for the Abyss Sword.

My toons have signature weapons and don't use eachothers, unless if secondary.

But for the weapons I used the most: GSoA both cursed and divine, bandits knife, Darksword and bastard sword.

Almost always a Fire Uchi +10
But because of Patch 1.06 and my high Dex for faster casting i switched to a +15 Iaito and +15 BBlack Bow of Pharis
Off Hand +5 Asc. PyroFlame and Talisman

Just about to conclude my first PvE run through of the game, and have used my Gargoyle Halberd +14 for 80% of the game, along with a Cross Bow +10. In between i used a Claymore+10 and a Longsword +13, but tend to return to the Halberd whenever i struggle with the other weapons.

Love the Gargoyle Halberd, excellent reach, nice thrust attack and it's 2-handed power attack is awesome. Yes, movements are slow, but just means i have to time my battles well and really think before I leap.

For NG+ thinking of using a Iiato or similar, or a greatsword.

G. Halberd is one of the best weapons in the game. I love it!

All kind of katanas for chillin' through PVE part of the game. For PVP, Ricard's Rapier and Estoc.

Black Knight Axe, I know in PvP is too easy to parry (I know.. I know... ) but in PvE is just fast enough and deals a nice damage, especially when two handed.
I am a sucker with slow weapons, used greatlord greatsword for a bit but faster weapons I like definitely better.

even with as op as i see it i dont think i have a single character that doesnt have a balder +15 sitting on it. just an amazing weapon all around not including the ridiculous R2.
outside of that im in love with both the Scythe (Bardiche) and the Estoc.

im taking a liking to Ciaran's armor and weapons as well.

Mine would have to be the dark sword. for the look move set and range.

Mine used to be the Bastard Sword, But after running an ENB run, I am in love with the swag sword, that thing does the same amount of damage as the Bastard sword, but is much faster.

Is the Balder Side Sword a random drop or can you get it somewhere else?

Its quite a rare random drop from the Balder Knights that wield the sword, which is unfortunate since you can buy the rest of the set elsewhere

I'm just going to post the weapons I enjoy most:
Bastard Sword (Yes, claymore is better, but this is less seen).
Composite Bow/shortbow
Most spears
Ricard's rapier for style

I use the Shotel on most of my Builds simply because its unique and always usefull since it goes through Shields .

I mostly make it Elemental so it also does good Damage and it only has a 14 DEX requirement .
