Input delay bug fixed in 1.06?
Just realized that I can't remeber the input delay bug happening at all since the patch was released.

Come to think of it I haven't had it happen either. Not a single time since I started playing again. Which was after the patch

I haven't been paying much attention, but I don't think it's happened to me either.

Re: Input delay bug fixed in 1.06?
I can attest that it happened exactly 5 minutes after downloading. I was fighting a silver knight in Anor Londo and I pressed square for estus. It didn't work so I just thought that I didn't press it and continued to fight. I press R1 to attack and low and behold I chug estus instead...

I've had input delay as well but didn't realize it. I've rolled without warning, Blocked when I wanted to attack, and used items when i didn't need to.

Seems like it always happens at the worst possible moment doesn't it?

Re: Input delay bug fixed in 1.06?
I have experienced it once since recent patch.
I always figured this was a user error though. Everytime it happens to me it was because I spammed several actions at once. For instance I rolled and during the roll action I press attack or item either accidently or because I am spamming like a chicken with its head cut off and when I come out of the roll I try to block but instead perform the queued action.

I always thought that the 'input delay' was due to the fact I had no stamina left.

I actually never had a bad experience with it until I played through the DLC. Walked up to an elevator in Oolacile township and rolled into the pit when I attempted to roll 5 seconds earlier.

Re: Input delay bug fixed in 1.06?
I just managed to force part of this bug at will, just adding it here for future reference. Have not tried it while locked on to something.
If I walk forward while blocking, then release walk and block, and press attack (all actions simultaneously), my character just stands still. If I then either press block again, or turn 180 degrees, the attack will execute. I'm also able to do the same with estus, if I try to drink instead of attacking. Both can also be done while holding the dash button.

I can confirm this as well from fighting Artorias unlocked. I stood still, then pivoted to the left, and then came the slash. I was then mercilessly mashed by his three part aerial slam.

Re: Input delay bug fixed in 1.06?
Somebody posted a solution awhile back where there was something you could do with your controller that temporarily fixed the issue. I remember trying it and having it work for awhile. Anybody remember what that was?

Some claim to have fixed it by resetting the ps3 controller (tiny button on the backside). I have tried but it didn't work for me.

It worked for me for a couple weeks I think, then I had to do it again.
