You're response is difficult to decipher Animus. Yeah, there is a problem? Or yeah the periods were necessary? And either way it would help to know what or why, respectively. I'm concerned because I don't remember you being this hostile before and would like to help if there's something bothering you.

I don't wanna get you off the current subject, but I wanna ask: Is off-topic now the term for just anything? Also things regarding the game? No offence, just wanna know I've never been in forums that much, especially not english forums.

Well off topic is meant for anything not dark souls, but in my thread, ANYTHING is game. I just want to encourage conversation that can't be halted for fear of having to stay on a specific subject, and this thread is my solution to that limitation in other threads.

@Serious: Here me and Dj were, discussing a topic we enjoy, and theAnimus comes along and expresses a minor level of hostility towards our hobby of interest. Upon realizing this, I thought I would inquire as to why he was feeling such hostility in an attempt to understand and try to make him feel better since something seemed to be bothering him. Each of theAnimus's responses seemed to only increase in negativity, but it seems that by me simply not falling into the same anger and/or frustration he was able to calm down. We stopped the conversation to express concern over an individuals problems, and withstood the negativity directed at us until it ceased. Long story short, we stopped only to continue to love and tolerate.

no games plot has made me cry. At all.

A few that affected me a bit though, honourable mentions go to; Heavy Rain (love that game), the ending to Final Fantasy IX and Legend of Dragoon.

On Next Topic: Can't say I've ever legitimately cried during a game, though the saddest I've felt in a long while that I can remember in regards to a game was Majora's Mask. Nobody in that game deserved their fates, not the Skull Kid with the mask, not Clock Town and the moon, and especially not the Deku Palace butler's son. Finding out who the Deku butler's son was was probably the closest I've come to actually crying for a game now that I think back.

metal gear series aways make me cry, the plot is very well made. Assassins creed also had a fantastic story. But MGS wins

@Serious: The song taken out of context from the episode indeed seems like a promotion of vanity (which is consequently why I don't care for it as much as other songs from the series), but it fits the character of Rarity (to those who don't know that's the name of the pony singing the song) quite well. To provide some context, the episode in question she is sent to the city populated by the upper crust of society to purchase high-grade materials for a dress she was making for a friend (Rarity is a dress-maker by profession) and ends up getting invited to a social gathering where she could potentially make a name for herself as a respectable citizen of the high society, which upon this realization is where the song takes place. However, going to the party means she has no time to work on the dress for her friend and ends up with a lazily made simple and boring design. The message eventually comes from the fact that her friend likes the dress anyway, and Rarity has to accept the realization that having value in the eyes of society as a whole is not as important as being valued by those who actually care about you.

and Carphil, seriously? Assassins Creed? I didnt even care when the guy stabbed the generic love interest character at the end of brotherhood, because no time at all had been invested in them..

The whole plot whether its desmond or ancestors just has always seemed really hollow and rather token to me. There to just fill in the criteria for a game, like ticking a box almost. Certainly not to be paid much attention.
