- I hate my life more than anything. I'm too scared to live, but too scared to die. I have no friends, except for one, who does not live closeby. I'm paranoid about it, suspecting that he doesn't care, although i usually end up hurting him in the proccess. I know i hurt him and myself, and i wish i wouldn't, but i can't seem to end our friendship, as it is the last thing keeping me happy at times. The last thing keeping me sane. I rarely speak, apart from talking to my parents once in a while, as well as speaking to the teachers. I do not count the times i speak with someone online. I'm mainly just hiding behind a mask online, not letting out who i truly am because i just can't afford doing so, or i'll just end up ruining everything for others. I feel like i'm not being appreciated for what i am, that being a nice guy who sacrifices himself for everyone else. Instead i get accused of bragging and being an *******, when i don't even speak behind my friends back. I'm as loyal as can possibly be, and as forgiving as is possible. I have no idea how i'm still alive, but somehow i am. Oh, and i wish to befriend people, but they just end up feeling bad for me, and that's it. Feeling bad for me! They do not care for me as friends! They just feel bad for me! :x There, find out who i truly am!

I was in similar shoes at your age, Tart. About a year passed, and I still have few friends, but, ya know? It's not as important to impress others, and that simple fact kinda set me free. I was addicted to acceptance. Everyone just wants to be accepted in this life, and it *** sucks when you aren't, but the fact that you're still alive means that you know that there's always tomorrow, and ending today wouldn't just rob you of tomorrow, but you from other's lives as well.
Things could get really deep here, but you understand where you are, and you understand that that lonely feeling you get can't last forever, and you're right. It doesn't.

Thing is though, i'm not looking for acceptance. However, i need friends. Friendship is what makes me happy. Being able to help others makes me happy, and so does the thought of being appreciated for the help you offer. I couldn't care less for acceptance, i just need the friendship, y'know?

Anyway, I was generalizing. Honestly, I used the word "acceptance" because the message I heard this morning at church struck a chord with me, and my pastor used the word "acceptance" which can be compared with "companionship" or "friendship" or "relationship." Kinda.
Anyway, why are we still on this topic?
