DLC corrupt?

Few did unfortunately. However, I called it out for anyone interested in still playing offline as a trade off until a fix (if any) is made.

Chances are they need a REpatch the patch for other issues to. But...why did it start doing this? For the first few days it was fine. Smooth sailing...now...all glitchy and invasions seem even MORE difficult.

Bump. Still on page 1 i know. But...i'm sick of the flickering. It makes it difficult to play. But a footnote, summons/invasions still work. For those who aren't having luck. Its just...even MORE difficult now. I want my souls game fixed!

Considering I paid $15, I'd assume they are build another patch right now. I hope so at least.

The ghosts on the way to Manus do it too. Most disconcerting. Now you see 'em now you don't and any humanities they drop do the same. Makes playing tiring on the eyes because it's already dark down there.

Ya. Those humanity spirits destroyed me because i could'nt see them all. And on NG+++ they hit like a mac truck. Also, your bloodstain is dodgey too. Any official word about this yet anywhere?

Well apparently the issue has something to do with the server if playing offline makes the glitch less important. Or maybe the issue is caused by the P2P?

Yup, I'm in the abyss right now at NG++ and it's hell.
It's a really annoying issue in Oolacile too but the Abyss is just crazy, I feel like I'm doing some crazy walkthrough, like "I bet I can clear the Abyss without seeing my enemies, my magic or any drop!"

Hope they will fix this ASAP, it started on the 8th of November suddenly (to me but also a lot of other people on the web started reporting this bug on the same day) so I guess there was some kind of hidden upgrade that went wrong?

I was doing some exploring in the Royal Forest. The bodies with items on them are glitched too. They no longer have the glowing orb. I had to go offline to see them.

I have more or less only played in the dlc area since it was released, but after the glitches began I noticed that all the resonance rings were gone as well. But now I read that this was the case in other areas as well, not just the dlc area. So I went to the forest and the other pvp hotspots, but couldn't find a single resonance ring there either.

So, have anyone on ps3 seen/used resonance rings in any area after the glitching started?

Yeah and drops too, both tipes (glowing white orb, golden sparkly orb), I have to walk over dead bodies without the shield to see if I get the message "Pick up" :pale:

For me too! I wanted to post this aswell, but you beat me to it ;-) Resonance rings are gone.

umm this may be unrelated but you know how weapons are technically supposed to bounce off shields in pvp but tend not too? i just had a random invader repeatedly have his weapon bounce off my tower kite shield... thats never happened before...

It will also bounce off if you don't meet the dex, int or fth requirements of the weapon. Maybe he was messing with you?

Someone should compile a list of the things playing up. Like spells, messages, sign's, resonance rings
I've had the odd enemy flicker on and off rapidly, then he appears as normal.

Just did the sanctuary guardian for the first time after the dlc got corrupted; didn't see his lightning attacks coming. It's awful. Please from, do something.

Wow, weird things are going on. I summoned someone ( a japanese dude), nothing happens...I summoned him by the artorias fog gate. Ok, so I summon someone else, that person appears in front of me, but the japanese dude gets summoned at the start of the level. So his soulsign was at the fog gate, but he appeared at the start of the level. I mailed him and he says his ss was at the fog gate but he was erected at the start lol!!! he cleared some enemies throughout the level, while me and the other summon just waited at the shortcut. Very weird....

Does anyone know if From is actually working on this? I can't find anything about it...and that's making me a bit concerned.

I would assume they are working on it. But, it may take time. We don't want a half-assed patch.

the guy did get a hit off on me and i saw the crackle effect of a lightning weapon... plus he was in nearly full guardians armor... i don't think he was messing with me.... but hell he could have just tossed on a weapon at random...

Now that you mention it. None. Also in the arena area, barely saw one red ring the other day. 2 weeks ago were seeing lots of red rings and those white ones were everywhere.

Gotta bump this, just in case FROM cares or is listening.

The odds that someone from From Software are spying us here is REALLY small.

That and it costs money to release a patch so they may wait for more issues to make it less expensive.

Also,maybe the issue is from the servers. Maybe they don't need to release a patch on XBL/PSN/GFWL in that case.
