Nah you don't lose humanity as an invading darkwraith. You keep your human form and just need to pick up your bloodstain for the rest. But you do lose the potential humanity from the host you would have killed, had you not invaded a farmer.

I see, thanks for the explanation. In fact there is no diference between invading phantoms, only that red wraiths needs to be human and so they can also be invaded, correct? That does not sound so bad, as a wraith you can collect a lot of humanity, I guess losing one its not so terrible

You can get invaded if you didn't kill the boss.

But in the Kiln killing the boss whisks you to NG+, so you have to put up with being invaded while you're trying to invade. Also, while keeping your human form means you don't lose a humanity reversing your hollowing every time you lose an invasion, it also means you risk it all going to get your bloodstain... to be honest I've never died on my way to my bloodstain after I died in an invasion, but it could happen! Whoops, there goes 99 humanities!

Practise, young one. I used to be a noobie too. Now I get from 0 to 99 humanity in 10 hours of PvPing.

Meh. Who needs an orb when ya got Dried Fingers. that, or summon a Red Soapstone or Dragon being. I can handle losing my human form, I can easily receive humanity back one way or another, no problem.

Or I can use the Eye of Death. Either way, it is easier making people come to you than to come to them.

That's what I said.. until I lost over 300 humanity and 50 million souls in totals (Hasn't happened only once ha). Not that it matters anyway, don't use them for anything.

If you always have that much humanity, you should just keep a chaos weapon with you. It seems that would be the general basis for people who always have Humanity on the person, right?

Well it all depends on the build. I use CMW so a chaos weapon is a no go for me. Maybe as an alternate weapon but I generally never use one.



Edit: Not to mention the reason I lose them is always something stupid. ie: Getting impatient and invading as soon as I get in, then not able to reach my stain before invading and its a 3v1 gangbang lol, or being on the phone while running down the stairs at Kiln etc.

Found a couple of people something similar in the painted world, but I murdered him and his phantom and I guess that doesn't make for good youtube videos does it?

Also, we can see that guys gamertag in the vid, but not yours, that is the bigger **** move here imo.

Humanity also boosts defense by quite a bit and will boost all the way up to 99 IIRC

It goes up to 98 . But between 75 and 98 barely any difference.

Someone here said humanity gives a maximum of 89 extra physical deffense.

From 0 humanity i have 371 (142) def, at 98 i have 401 (172). Im guessing its a fraction of your defense so higher your def is greater the increase.

^That's not a problem... Most areas you can actually invade right from the Bonfire. So you'll die and respawn right over your bloodstain, all you have to do is press X!

The Kiln is such trash these days, ***, I appreciate the creativity. Plus, I'm always looking 360 degrees in the Kiln, if I didn't catch you there it's not like I'ma lose anything for being a sucker.

that was hilarious lmao.

I ran into two guys doing this in the forest the other day. But instead of hinding the just stood there motionless until I walked in, then they bum rushed me. I knew it was coming and thought it was just too funny. But I did get a large soul of proud knight out of it. At least they weren't throwing down junk.
