Thoughts on my new build?

I'm going to make a new str/int build for the DLC. Clicky

This is a build for invading, but i might duel with it sometimes as well. I will cast HW before engaging, and i might switch weapon and cast it again later. Dark bead could be switched to soul arrows, chameleon, dark orb, GMW, or maybe a pyro.

I tried out the mace in the forest earlier. And it's very powerful now that a lot of people don't go around with 53-56 poise, you can stunlock them in one hit.
I'm also going to try out different weapons like the butchers knife and the golem axe.

I thought the Manus was tailor-made for str/int.

It might be if you have higher int. But i only have the minimum requirements for HW/dark bead.
And it's too heavy for this build.

the golem axe is ok, decent damage but its too heavy for what it is. I love the butcher knife, that thing has some reach its awesome. yeah the mace can kill a lot of people in three hits depending on their armor, ive stunlocked people with it and killed them in three or four hits with it, it hits really hard.

The butcher knife weighs a lot though, that's its biggest downside.

you can alway have a butcher knife/msgs combo to switch around when youre using it. its worth using.

I'll probably experiment with a lot of weapons, so i could try that as well

I would use GMW and change at least the demons great machete to crystal +4/5, i dotn know about the mace cuz im not sure how much durability it would have, but the DGM definitely has enough to be made crystal comfortably, just repair as neccessary by using the spell or stock up on powder.

You can't repair crystal weapons.
I know that some people like stoking up on crystal weapons though. But i don't have the patience for it.

Actually iirc you can repair crystal weapons, provided they aren't broken. When it comes up saying weapon at risk/weapon broken then its too late, but before that then you can i think. So you just air on the side of caution, worst case scenario, if it turns out you cant repair it at all, then you just turn it back into a demons great machete +10 and go from there.

I'll test it out when i get a chance.
