Do you wear full Havel's?
Pretty straight forward I think. I'm just generally curious. I'm not talking about popping it on for a 4-Kings encounter, I'm more talking about if any of your characters can be generally found in Havel's more often than not.

No, never have, never will.
It's to odd looking for me, and in my eyes makes you seem kinda stupid, not the actual person just their character. I mean really, who the heck in their right mind wears armor cut from a stone slab. I can't even imagine how long it takes to make a set and how many they have to toss due to a screw up.

gauntlets+leggings usually, for a bit of extra poise. only time i wore the full set was pre-patch 4 kings and first time i fought seathe. if im not mistaken it has pretty good curse resist? not sure though.

are you telling me, if you yourself was actually in the dark souls world, you wouldnt wear the largest armor possible? not counting that itd probably be impossible to wear due to its weight, but still, if i was in the world, id try to wear the heaviest armor possible, even if it meant i couldn't move, id just sit in a corner in full havels with his shield, and cry myself to sleep.

Re: Do you wear full Havel's?
I voted yes without reading the 1st post. hehe! i did wear the armor set when i fought the 4 kings. Made the fight easier imo but wearing them during PVE is not really practical. I would wear leggings once in a while when i PVP since it looks cool. hehe

No. I perfer not to wear it because Giant+5 is overally more defensive, Havel's only has poise and slightly higher magic defense in it's favor between the two. If I personally got sucked in there I'd be wearing light or medium armor, I'm not some big tough dude like a body builder. I want to stay quick on my feet and dodge what I can before countering, that's how I usually role. Heck alot of times I'll wear nothing but a weapon and a shield and just walk through places and parry/riposte anything that attacks me for the heck of it ~.~;

No, no, no, and no. It looks stupid, and rock armor is a stupid idea. It would shatter when you so much as briskly jog down the stairs, never mind rolling and flipping.

Re: Do you wear full Havel's?
On my high level toon I tried it for a couple hours once with the flip ring of course but at the end of the day I like the look of the black knight armor and I'd rather not use the flip ring on that particular character and I can stay under 25% w/o havels so that's all I really care about.

Re: Do you wear full Havel's?
Frankly, I'm shocked at the poll numbers so far. The amount of people I see in full Havel's pretty consistently would have me think otherwise, because the one YES vote was actually a NO, because homie don't read.

Planet Rock
This poll is missing "Nah, I rock the Smough.", On the serious side, i'm certain most of the Havel Rockers stay silent on forums or don't bother with them. At least that's what it seems like from the limited chatting I've had with those playing online.

Re: Do you wear full Havel's?
I never wear full havels.. or even mostly havels (except for four kings but a lot of us will do that)
the only part of it i wear are the gauntlets, who wouldn't want chains on their wrists?

As I, a lost undying vagabond, break free from my prison and rise to the land of Lordran. I place shackles upon myself because it looks cooleth bro. :] No disrespect I like the chain-look as well, I just find it ironic now that I think about it.

Re: Do you wear full Havel's?
I like it because of the defense, I also after seeing a painting in one of the bedrooms in Anor Londo and seeing the size of his sword, think Artorias was possibly a giant also. So I'm usually walking around with the sword and shield. I refuse to flip in it but I can if I want to.
... Giants that is.
